Whom to contact about licensing options?

We have been directed to the generic submission form. Perhaps someone in the backend can be tasked with adding that @Ashwin Rao? t -
Reference Guide and Help for Making the Transition to Sonar
DeeringAmps replied to aleo's topic in Feedback Loop
@aleo Sonar and CbB coexist with no problem. In fact Sonar will ask if you wish to install with your CbB settings. IIRC I did have to go into the file page in preferences and link to the folders where I keep everything. I don’t keep data on my C drive, that’s just a “thing” for me. Anything that any program wants to put in “users” on the C drive; no dice. So far Sonar is not much different than a “normal” update; so really no “learning curve” yet. HTH, t pretty much what Glenn said. I was typing while his post went up. Great minds think alike? ? -
Whom to contact about licensing options?
DeeringAmps replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@Terry Kelley, et al. I understand exactly how you’ve come to your opinion, but perhaps, given the fact that input has been solicited, we should give BL the benefit of the doubt? Time will tell. I, for one, understand completely that BL is trying to build membership. I don’t have a problem with BL monetizing the DAW. Would I prefer to have a perpetual license; hell ya! Do I need/want the “perks” that membership brings? I will probably never explore them. Will I “pay to play” for my favorite DAW; yup! And if that’s a subscription; so be it! YMMV t -
Somehow this one snuck by me. Comment and like at SC ?’s ? t

? Left my comment & like at YouTube. This has kinda “fallen thru the cracks”, which is a shame; lots to like here. t

@Eyvaz Alizade This thread died years ago. Start a new thread. List details of the audio interface you are using. Let us know if you are using the ASIO drivers provided by the interface’s manufacturer (this is almost always the best practice). Posting screenshots from Preferences>Audio>Devices and Preferences >Audio>Driver Settings is also helpful. some screenshots of the two on my system... We will try to get you up and running. t checkout @John Vere's video

Current BandLab membership sale is still on at $112 per year
DeeringAmps replied to Noel Borthwick's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
I just followed the link, since I (like you), already have the monthly membership the answer is (probably) NO! I was advised today that I already have the membership. When the 30% off deal was offered in the Spring I was unable to take advantage (already had the monthly). At that time I inquired directly to BandLab, and was advised to "cancel" my current membership. However, even cancelled, your membership remains in effect until the end of the listed "lease" (see Sonar>Help>About). By the time I hit my "anniversary" date the "deal" was over. Perhaps things have changed and simply "cancelling" will let you "buy in"; but I doubt it... HTH, t -

Had a 414 it was ok. I’ve settled on a TLM 103. Works as good as any of the dozens of mics I’ve bought and sold over the years. t

Forgive me for not paying close attention here. BUT, it’s a Dell. Not, IMHO, a “top candidate” for a DAW. However there is a forum member, @Jack Stonerwho is active on the Dell support forum. Perhaps Jack will drop by and give some advice. Looks like he hasn’t posted in quite some time, but according to his profile he stopped by on Monday. ?, how ‘bout it FireBerd? Can you help our man out? t

Here is a link to the John Sayers website. John passed a few years ago and the website went "dark". An archive has been reconstructed. There's a lot of good info there. Glenn was quite active there and knows his stuff. Best of luck with the new build. t
