Yes, they regularly where in the $80-90 range. But $107-110 has been the price for awhile now. I stocked up when Best had it’s $29 savings the end of February. t

Are these crashes in specific projects, or across multiple projects? During playback, or when attempting specific tasks? If I had to guess, it’s a plugin. Pick a project, one that’s very problematic, and bypass all effects. Add them back one at a time. Maybe @Noel Borthwick will drop by and remind us where to find the files necessary to answer the question… t

@JonD Here is The Plan. You will find details on Sonar here. This is what we know about CbB. Evidently that means that CbB isn't going anywhere soon t if I think of/find anything else I'll update accordingly...

@Pathfinder I think the thread in question was deleted. I can't see it either. Once a thread has said all there is to say it makes sense to lock it. It also makes sense to delete threads that really contain no useful information and serve only to bring on the trolls and chaos. just my nickel98, but in your heart; you know what I mean... t

Does Anybody Know What Asset Files Are?
DeeringAmps replied to Johnbee58's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
There is that, but @Glenn Stanton is actually correct. @Johnbee58 you can safely delete the asset file, or just leave it there. EDIT: John check the folders you have uploaded, I suspect that they contained the "assets" folder (or was it an extension; I did a quick check and can't find any old projects that still have them). If this is happening only in the projects that contained the "assets" folder (or extension) then you can safely delete them before uploading to IDrive. One more EDIT: Did a deeper dive. it is an extension! IE: project_name.cwp.assets; you can safely delete it! The project was dated 2015. X2, maybe X3 back them? If Steve Cook was still around, he would have set us straight by now; we miss you @scook! t -
Cakewalk now exclusively available through BandLab Membership
DeeringAmps replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I totally understand, and it appears that locking CbB is not eminent; stay with it! I am locked into the eco system and feel it is in my/our own best interest to support the move forward. I could use Reaper IF I had to. Why, Sonar is alive and well, and is the “best” fit for me. Would I purchase Sonar? Yup, in a New York minute! I would have purchased the Backstage Pass when it was 30% off, but for some reason because I already had a monthly subscription it wouldn’t work. Vie La vie… t -
Cakewalk now exclusively available through BandLab Membership
DeeringAmps replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
@Dave Maffris I think your best answer is in that thread. HTH, t -
@Sent4th Do you have the BandLab Membership? If not, it will not activate. Pretty simple really, Cakewalk Sonar is “pay to play”. $150 for a yearlong license, $15 a month if you prefer to “pay as you go”. HTH, t

Cakewalk SONAR beta testers questions:
DeeringAmps replied to tecknot's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I’ve been using Sonar since it’s release to the public as a part of BandLab Membership; back in March. Is Sonar, a “quantum leap”; no. It’s just another step “forward” the same as each new update to CbB has been. There is a major shift in the interface, as it is now vector based. I commented early that it appeared “flat”; I compared it to Sonar 8.5. I’m used to it now. Evidently it “streamlines” the drawing of graphics and speeds things up. The bakers assure us it’s lighter and faster; they’re the experts. I’m sure that the beta testers all have signed NDA’s, that’s how these sort of things work. NO! However a “sign into BandLab” nag pops up, but that’s so you can use some online BL resources. I’ve never explored these and only sign in to “authorize” once a month (I opted for the $15 a month membership). Offline authorization is available. HTH, t -

DeeringAmps replied to mark skinner's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I know this doesn't help, but my office rig is running Win 10 Home, so it updates itself all the time. I'm not having any issues in Sonar or CbB. Since a restore point got you back up and running something changed... t -
Try 48k. I’m suspecting an issue with the driver. t
