? Secret sale: only 24 hours, SongKey MK4 90% off
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
That's what I thought, yet I just purchased it again thinking this isn't something I would purchase because I wouldn't use it, so I didn't bother checking if I already had it. I thought the thrill of the purchase would cover the $1.50, so GAS won. -
Ahhh and there it is, just goes to prove you've lost the argument, well done sir.

lol, no, that is something else, a change of how things are done. Don't worry about that, seek and ye shall find the answer, and don't listen to much to the fear mongers.

I hope no one is running the latest T-Racks 5, Amplitube 5, Sampletank 4 or TONEX? because guess what? ? I know they are to large for VirusTotal, but . . . ?

Is SONAR Platinum still possible to activate?
Heath Row replied to Canopus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
That's not the case with at least 2 , you get a message that it can't find the correct app, something like that, basically Platinum. I didn't bother with any others because I thought I recalled that's how it was. The Boz pack will install that way though. I haven't had SONAR installed since 2015 and didn't bother with CbB. -
ditto ?

WOW, talk about cutting your nose of to spite your face, you are missing out on some truly great plugins, at least one, if you are a guitar player, has no equal, and those reverbs and Tapes, and . . . each to there own I guess. 12 positives you say? what about the 50 or so negatives?
-
WOW!! No sh!t, I always thought you were a male.?

Is SONAR Platinum still possible to activate?
Heath Row replied to Canopus's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Will this "new product center app" negate the need to say have to install SONAR Platinum etc to be able to access all your plugins and instruments? I own all there is to own and I would prefer not to have to install previous versions just so I can have access to the plugins etc -
Reading between the lines in this post by the big guy, I'd say it ain't going to happen, but who knows . . .
-
Yes I seen it as well. Will post the link if I come across it again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Awesome update for an awesome DAW. Love how they have the 'How To's' and video tutorials etc well and truly under control. Just an awesome team with an awesome product ?

I fail to see what this has to do with TONEX, Peter get on to the crew they either didn't get the memo or have made a huge mistake. Pieannies? we don't need no pieannies We don't need no shhtinkin' pieannies We don't need no black and white keys No thoughts of Elton in the bathroom Peter leave those keys alone HEY, PETER, LEAVE THOSE KEYS ALONE All in all it's just A, nother team away from TONEX All in all it's just A, nother team away from TONEX

Well, at least where the cakes and biscuits are stashed ?

I thought you 2 were being a little harsh, and perhaps showing your age(I'm 5 months off 60 myself), then I clicked on the link for the Next Beta.

Maybe sooner, they just went onto the rc phase (7.0rc1) after 29 or so pre release releases and they're moving fast. I'm wanting a backup, my REAPER license ran out at the end of v5. Just installed and updated to the final CbB, then uninstalled it so as I could get the full download file of the last CbB, I'll leave it uninstalled, wait to check out the new Sonar then decide betwixt REAPER and Sonar, it's looking REAPER atm, I've seen some screen shots that actually look good. But I'll wait for Sonar to be released and probably grab the bundle they were talking about and check out what Next is about while I'm at it. REAPER - They've been giving MIDI a bit of love this time around making the MIDI boys salivate.

To the Coffee House with you, where you belong ?

hmmm, I guess getting the set up up and going again and sticking with Cakewalk isn't an option then? give it one more shot, the old college try? I have no issues with MIDI in Studio One for what I do, but I here mumblings around the traps, perhaps I am just not delving into the depths of MIDI, anyway. I hear Cubase aint to shabby $$$, REAPER is getting better, but it can be a little how shall I say 'cantankerous' Easy on the wallet but hard on the eyes Other than sticking it out with Cakewalk, best wait for the MIDI guys to turn up, it be out of my wheelhouse. Best of luck.

Gee, you're living dangerously (I like it ?), especially for someone who has been around the Cakewalk Forums for a long time like yourself. Put your helmet on and prepare for incoming fire Studio One Pro hands down IMO ?
