  1. Yes I seen it as well. Will post the link if I come across it again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Awesome update for an awesome DAW. Love how they have the 'How To's' and video tutorials etc well and truly under control. Just an awesome team with an awesome product ?
  2. No, but I'll bet whatever you're betting handsome.
  3. I fail to see what this has to do with TONEX, Peter get on to the crew they either didn't get the memo or have made a huge mistake. Pieannies? we don't need no pieannies We don't need no shhtinkin' pieannies We don't need no black and white keys No thoughts of Elton in the bathroom Peter leave those keys alone HEY, PETER, LEAVE THOSE KEYS ALONE All in all it's just A, nother team away from TONEX All in all it's just A, nother team away from TONEX
  4. Well, at least where the cakes and biscuits are stashed ?
  5. I thought you 2 were being a little harsh, and perhaps showing your age(I'm 5 months off 60 myself), then I clicked on the link for the Next Beta.
  6. Maybe sooner, they just went onto the rc phase (7.0rc1) after 29 or so pre release releases and they're moving fast. I'm wanting a backup, my REAPER license ran out at the end of v5. Just installed and updated to the final CbB, then uninstalled it so as I could get the full download file of the last CbB, I'll leave it uninstalled, wait to check out the new Sonar then decide betwixt REAPER and Sonar, it's looking REAPER atm, I've seen some screen shots that actually look good. But I'll wait for Sonar to be released and probably grab the bundle they were talking about and check out what Next is about while I'm at it. REAPER - They've been giving MIDI a bit of love this time around making the MIDI boys salivate.
  7. To the Coffee House with you, where you belong ?
  8. hmmm, I guess getting the set up up and going again and sticking with Cakewalk isn't an option then? give it one more shot, the old college try? I have no issues with MIDI in Studio One for what I do, but I here mumblings around the traps, perhaps I am just not delving into the depths of MIDI, anyway. I hear Cubase aint to shabby $$$, REAPER is getting better, but it can be a little how shall I say 'cantankerous' Easy on the wallet but hard on the eyes Other than sticking it out with Cakewalk, best wait for the MIDI guys to turn up, it be out of my wheelhouse. Best of luck.
  9. Gee, you're living dangerously (I like it ?), especially for someone who has been around the Cakewalk Forums for a long time like yourself. Put your helmet on and prepare for incoming fire Studio One Pro hands down IMO ?
  10. Rain, just grab yourself another turntable, and well you know the rest

  12. Oh Princess, you must be very precious if you think that is "vitriol" come on precious. The truth is not vitriol.
  13. Well apart from a big So What? your point is? apart from you can't handle the truth? oorrr . . . are you still all butt hurt? . . . It is what it is.
  14. The thumbs down being a cases in point ? Young children ?, they must have their fun, precious little darlings ?
  15. Aren't the Cakewalk Forums just a hoot? more fun than a barrel of monkeys or a frog in a sock. it's a hoot I tell ya, always has been, always will be ? I wonder what it is? I think it has something to do with ? anything negative gets said about Cakewalk or SONAR, and it's like you had 'relations' with their wife or pissed in their coffee, both even. Never could understand it myself, but sitting back and watching on is good for a laugh. ?
  16. Talking about strokes, there were these 3 old ladies sitting on a bench in the shopping mall when this young naked dude came running by, 1 of the old ladies had a stroke, the other 2 were to slow. I'll see me'self out.
  17. No, I believe you are granted the license, I could be wrong, but you may even find that wording in the EULA, I believe I have read it before, not necessarily Cakewalk EULA, along with the fact that at their discretion they can revoke your license.
  18. There are a lot of ifs, if they go this way, if it is the same as last time. But if it is you don't have to keep paying over and over, once you pass your first 12 months, the version you are at is yours (forgetting the ownership/license argument) You can stay and use that version as long as you want. If you decide sometime in the future you want to update, you can start paying again, once you past 12 months of paying again, you can stop paying and the version you are on you can continue to use, repeat and rinse. 12 consecutive months of payment in all cases.
  19. Oh the Cakewalk forums, never fail to entertain, just imagine what it will be like as we get closer to release ?
  20. You made a mistake in the title, it's Guitar Rig 7 Poo
  21. Not as pretty as you my handsome man ?
  22. If a shot is fired, which duly misses, don't fire back with hugs and kisses Heath Row
