HorNET Exclusive 90% OFF on HoRNet HarmoniQ - Secret Sale!
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
you could have just purchased it and used the Email address of your account during purchase and it would have been fine, that's how it works in most places -
I lost interest before I gained it, I might have seen a page or 2 at the most, under protest, that a friend (yeah, don't look so surprised, I had a couple, those that passed survived might be a more appropriate word, the vetting process) showed me.

That's a good price, I just checked back and I paid $79 back in September 2015.

APD Deal: TONEX Metal Gems Collection by IK Multimedia - FREE DOWNLOAD
Heath Row replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I hope you realize Peter that not all have the same feelings towards you or the company you work for. I know you are made of tough stuff or you wouldn't have made it this far having to deal with all you have had to over the years, still, chin up sir. It is true about the CPU usage thing with Amplitube 5, it is a little annoying, but not annoying enough for me to bother putting in a support ticket, I mean the workaround is hardly an intensive procedure. Amplitube 5 and TONEX are some of my favorite and certainly most used softwares, and I would really hate to be without them. -

If it was me I would just copy over the .db file and then perhaps the relevant files/folders from Documents and/or Appdata where ever the various TONEX settings are kept, shouldn't/wouldn't take much to figure it out, if at all possible, certainly not 6 hours. To get all my packs across would likely take about 10/20 seconds and my collection is quite extensive, 250+ Full 3rd party packs and that's without the Signature Packs and other Packs purchased via IK. I certainly wouldn't be spending anything like 6hours, you have to do it once, as you are building your collection and that's spread out over time as you go, but to do it again all in one go, no thanks, there are much easier ways to accomplish that, and far better ways to spend your time -

Yeah thanks Peter, I was aware of that, I've been doing it the manual way ever since I've been doing it and probably will continue that way -

I always keep a copy of the latest TONEX .db file after every new addition and subsequent run of TONEX, if anything goes awry I don't have to worry about any of that jazz with regards to my library or restoring etc, if need be just slip the latest .db file back in and I'm instantly as I was. -

Never even consciously seen that tab before, but sure enough there they all are. You get the merit badge for 'Awareness' and thanks -

No they don't show up, in the PM you will just get a 'TONEX Registration Successful' or whatever it says, top right hand side. It can slip by unnoticed. That's how it's always happened for me and with how I do things, I've never done a FREEBIE though. -

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I've been having a bit of a read up and I'm not sure. I've been just about to press the Buy button a couple of times now, dunno. -
Email just came in, links work there, may as well grab it, I have the rest of the FireSonic stuff, don't use any of them, I imagine it will be the same with this one, but you know, completion and all that. ? Thanks above for the publisher link etc @Brian Lawler

Link doesn't take me there, search leads to nothing?

hmmm, $250 intro price, so it best be good, only been able to watch part of the vid without sound, but apparently it's bothersome, filthy, and stuff . . . -
With regards to Studio One, I haven't had any issues at all, no problems with my Native Instruments plugs, I only have Komplete Standard 14, and haven't had issue with any of my other plugs. Can't speak to Cakewalk/Sonar as I haven't used them since 2015, and I use Studio One exclusively so I can't speak to any other DAWs. Would be interested in hearing any other plugs you have this issue with in Studio One, I don't use Fabfilter.

Here, this should do it for ya' -
It seems strange, something going on there with OP's system I would guess. Shane/Kazrog are excellent plugin developer/s, I have all their plugins and no issues with any, of course I don't use Cakewalk/Sonar any longer (2015) but I would be surprised if they were just making things up. I'd uninstall correctly and completely, re download the files (they are only small in size) and install again and see how it goes. I just had a quick scan over at Gearspace and KVR and couldn't find anything and can't remember reading anything.

Yeah my photo/picture editing skills are zero, didn't want to have to go through the resizing and aligning of the original pics and couldn't find a way to save it. My OCD would give me hell if I tried to make it again, so I just left it.
-
The later, it's just for a little while. A momentary lapse of reason one might say.
-
Awesome, thank you both. Vernon I will be using it for a much similar purpose as yourself. As a Studio One user myself I'll climb that tree when I get there. Thanks again to both of you ?
-
So do you dudes use this? and if so, how long would you say it would take you just to make a reasonable scratch/place holder vocal, you know, something that you are happy with without going to say extreme for something you might publish etc. I just don't want to go down a rabbit hole of time and take to much time away from everything else, I understand it will take time, but is it much worse in that respect than say programing drums or bass ? It sounds pretty awesome to me, but I guess the people who made the demo songs aren't just hacks at the app, and who knows how much time they spent on it. There was another one that I was looking at, but it gets ruled out because of the cloud processing thingy bit, and from what I understand this is all done on your system that's right?
