Well a couple of days latter and all is good, don't know if I got the first $25+ back, that order contained the JSX same as the second order plus another, but I couldn't be bothered checking. No word on the why's or where's just an Email with the download links etc, no word on the first purchase. There is a couple more packs I want from there, anyone want to try it out to see if it's working OK now? anyone, anyone?

PSA Just a heads up if you frequent New Vintage Audio for TONEX captures, I tried to buy the newly released Peavey JSX, well the short and curly of it is I was charged and the money taken, but I got a message basically saying the process took to long so it failed, must have failed after taking the money, so I sends off a message to them, waited a few hours, then thought I'd give it another shot lol, but this time I added the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV, TONEX MAX only has the normal Hot Rod Deluxe version, anyway, same thing happened, sent off another email, but I'm not going back for a 3rd shot ?, I hope someone else does a quality JSX set and the Hot Rod Deluxe IV, I think that will be easier to find, I shall have a look. I wasn't there when patience was handed out ? So if anyone does go there, it may not be smooth sailing, or maybe it's just me.

If you are up to date, apart from the ones in the OP I believe the rest is pretty much MAC stuff, if you read the release notes or if you hover your mouse over the update button it says install AAX bla bla. Apart from the ones mentioned in the OP I'll pass on this round and wait for some Windows specific stuff to be updated.

'tis true, although a lot can be done to spruce things up with the use of external FX and such, and with surprisingly little effort. Plus for those of us whose area of 'expertise' may lay elsewhere, and may only be light users, the likes of this and UVI's offerings etc may be more than enough, and you can't argue with the price. For those the price of the heavy weights may not seem justifiable all things considered. I scored this ages ago for some ridiculous price, it gets occasional use, which was the intent when I purchased it, and no regrets.

Fear not sons of larry, all is good, my own foolishness and lack of understanding leading to frustration. It all works fine, you get your key and download, no issues with install or authorization, works just like a new one. As to whether it is legit or not, I'd personally go with legit.
