Greetings All. I searched but did not find an answer so here we go.... In CbB i'm using SI Drums via my Arturia Minilab MKII midi controller. When i set it up I choose Mark II Omni instead of assigning Channel 1 or 2 to a single, specific drum sound, because, I haven't figurered that out or even know if it's possible. Consequently, when i try to do one track with snare only, another with kick drum only, another with hi hat only, i can't as they're all on the same channel. Is there a tutorial that someone knows of on how to assign an SI snare to Channel 1, an SI kick drum to Channel 2, etcetera?? TIA

sorry i don't review your stuff but it's so far removed from my current wheelhouse that i don't really have much to add to what is already being said, but, i must now say your music is always extremely well crafted, thought out, written, played produced and mixed....to my ears the nearest comparison would be Steven Wilson's work with Porcupine Tree (i saw them live in the US on the Dead Wing tour) and have been following Steve's work since "The Sky Moves Sideways" days....anyway, just had to give you a thumb's way up for "Neon Blues" as well as all the other great material on "Elemental" ????

the song: really, really good song....arrangement, playing, instrument choices, vox, tempo changes, breakdowns. the mix: i'm at work so i must hold off as i don't have a decent enough sound system to offer a good opinion i like the song very much ????

very, very nice....the bottom end bass/drum sound is great....overall mix is great....deep European feel to it, like from a James Bond movie....reminds me of some of the best songs from Thievery Corporation ????

hi Paul....your stuff always has emotion, power, conviction, honesty....all the great things about rock and roll in particular and music in general....whatever you are not satisfied with in the technical part of your music think about how to do it simpler and work up from there....personally, i need to work on the drums in DAW production as my stuff as a lot of subtle and labor intensive elements that i just don't have the time to get the way i want so i do my ambient pop music stuff as a way of keeping my DAW journey active and growing so as time moves ahead i feel i'll get the hang of what it is i need....keep on keepin' on!!!! ????

hi gary, i'm at work so listening on ear buds, so my audio perspective is severly limited, but a lot of folks will be hearing this on earbuds as well so, perhaps there is some value in this post....lol!!....anyway, the mix works excellently....all vox and instruments are clear and balanced quite well, the audio is loud enough, no distortion/clipping present, no production mitpicking from me, so, on to my take on the song itself....i like it very much....the singers are great, the breakdowns are cool....i'd consider some banjo, fiddle and harmonica added to give it some more flavor....great work ????
