    The Gull.

Thanks Mark, most sounds/voices are originals, the Gull sounds are definitely. The others, as always, much easier than starting from scratch evry time, probably started as a preset but presets need tweaks to fit a mix. Which normally results in a new sound. I really do appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment.

    The Gull.

Thanks Kevin, the gull is from Arturia's ARP 2600 filter in self oscillation, some ADSR and delay, with a tad of reverb. Appreciate your kind words and time.

Thanks Freddy, your kind words and encouragement are welcome.
  4. Full report please, it interests me because of the different sticks, brushes an beaters used.

    The Gull.

Thanks, my partner inspired me to this over 20 years ago I never felt capable back then. Not sure I am now but I have to try for her. Appreciate your kind words and encouragement.

    The Gull.

Thanks Nigel, it might take a little while the story behind is quite deep and is going to take some interesting roads to complete. Appreciate your kind words and ongoing support.

    The Gull.

Yep no Bmb5+9 in this ? it is meant to be simple, setting a scene, The Gull is learning how to fly, not just fly to fish, not to chase the trawlers for scraps, or to fight the other gulls for a fish head or two. But really fly, fly like no other gull has flown before. First level flight, perhaps a barrel roll or two, his ultimate gull though is speed. Thanks for the ears and kind thoughts, part two is in the bakery.

  11. I had EZKeys 1 but never really used it as the GUI was to small on my 4K screens, I have 2 now but not really played with it. Listening to the one in the first post sounds OK here.
  12. ^^ This ^^ especially as the band came from just down the road to me. Mix works, don't crit your own vocal, sounds fine here, interesting take with the piano intro. Good Job
  13. Don't know the song so I slipped away to have a little listen to the original. I think you have done a very sympathetic cover. Mix sound OK here. Shame you didn't get a little more traction here.

    Rootsman Hustle

The remix, would appear to have worked, not that I heard the original
  15. Not a Judas Priest follower so I know not this song. Mix works fine here.
  16. Nice song from you Rex, fake instruments or otherwise it worked for me, who only uses fake (Synthesizers) to make music.
  17. You could try IK Multimedia ARC Studio, I was sceptical but am quite impressed with the subtle but useful change, probably cheaper than doing room treatment properly. My room treatment cost much more than the 299.99 Euro price of ARC studio.

Shame I was looking forward to a listen

    Alive

NIce enough easy listing laid back track. There is something hanging in the bass, some modulation of some kind, in the first 25 seconds which is a little irritating. Other than that nice clean airy mix good vocal sitting in the mix. Good job.
  22. I liked it the first time, not changed my mind for the addition of visuals.
