    The Surf

The surf sound in the background is totally randomly generated Bjorn see the patch below. Thank you for the listen and kind words I am glad you enjoyed this one.

    The Surf

Exactly which I think was a no no on a real Mellotron as it moves the playback head across the tape. Thanks for the listen and comment it is most appreciated.
  3. @Barry Seymour your vocal is nicely balanced here on my Adam A7x's what other monitors are you using?

    Kind of Irish

@bjornpdx sounds like a good audition to me.

    Going Away

Nice little furry paws tapping tune we have here, yeah those open hats are a little to forward but that can be a taste thing too. Something to stick on the car stereo and hit the highway.
  6. Not bad, perhaps a little more weight on the kick and bass, but that could just be a personal taste thing. All in all another well polished tune.
  7. I think the singers deserve a round of applause for this, nicely captured @jsg.

    The Surf

Thank you Mark, I think I did something that would break a real one or at least risk damaging the tapes, again your ears and time are appreciated.
  9. Just all round cool grooving
  10. I like that, perhaps a little to much reverb in the opening stages but superb writing and composition. Well captured too, worthy of a

It is the Strawberry Flutes Patch, which also has Violins and Cello's available in the same patch i you change tracks. Now I am sure you are nor supposed to change tracks whilst playing, as I think it moves the play heads, but if one has a knob one should play with it and if you can automate playing with it all the better. Thank you David I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment.

    The Surf

The Surf Using Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular to randomly self generate the surf sound and allowing a Wookiee to do things with a Mellotron you were probably never meant to do. Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular is using the Random Task Generator which generates Random Voltages which was controlled by a clock being randomly controlled by the Random Task generator. Which was also Randomly changing other Random Task generators, you get the drift. Along with Arturia's CS-80 V and Mellotron V Korg's MS-20 V Thanks for your ears and time.
  13. Nice groove and feel to this Mark nice stuff, thanks for sharing.

    WATCHING YOU

Sounds OK here @Paul Bush do you have access to a loudness meter? Youlean do a nice one, there is a free version that is useful, the paid for one which is not that expensive is even more useful. Mix stands the test here on the Adam A7x's, I can hear all the voices which is always a good thing.
  16. @markno999 Thank you a little distortion here and there never goes a miss ? As to the drum break I can not take all the credit Superior Drummer 3 comes with some very cool breaks, a little tweak here and there to make it fit and mine (mine do you hear me it was all mine ??)
  17. @User 905133 Thanks for the listen and comment the module "Random Task" is a purchase extra and does not appear to be in a bundle either. cost $20. The Rabbit hole is very big and very extensive and you can be down there for days on end making minute tweaks and creating weird sounds. Thanks again for your kind words.
  18. @E-Wolf Music have to agree with David, this needs something else over the top, either a lead Solo instrument or a vocal, unless it is intended to sit under a film with a narrative. Well recorded well crafted but.....

    Look Ahead

I like it @Lynn thanks for sharing.
  20. You productions are always so professionally presented, nice playing as ever, excellent signing. Well worthy of a
  21. This has the feel of a lot of recent advertisement music, somewhat laid back and semi acoustic. Nicely done on the production as ever Daryl and co. Nice Guitar work James, solid Bass from The Bapu, nice vocals from Liz and The monkey lover as ever tickling the keys and knobs.
  22. So @MGC59 how did you convince Chris Martin to sing on this for you ?. Not a big fan of them only familiar with their stuff I have heard on the radio when driving. This does sound very much like their sound, I think I agree with Tom (DeeringAmps) the kit would have a fuller sound, the drummer has a lot of input on the song writing as I understand it.
  23. @Bajan Blue Thanks Nigel glad you enjoyed it.
