@Bajan Blue Thank you sir, you are most kind. How are things in the southern hemisphere?
-
@kurt soderquist As promised I am now listening on my Event 20/20's driven by my TEAC A-X 5030 amp the tonal balance is fine, bass is nice a clear without dominating., drums have a pleasant presence again with the kick just poking through when it needs to, guitar nice and clear. I suspect you would be wasting you money on a sub. How do you have your 20/20's mounted? Mine are on stands that have what they call Axminister spikes sticking through the carpet, then I have cheep brass Isolation Cones which support the monitors themselves. Meaning the Monitors are pretty much isolated from the room, they are two feet from the rear wall a foot in from the side walls which have sound treatment there is also bass traps behind them as well.

Not my thing, but the mix sounds OK here in the Studio on the Adam's.

Thank you Sir nice to know, your time and ears are always appreciated.

Always a pleasure to hear you in creative mode Kenny, perhaps some parallel compression on the drums might have made the kick a little more, but you know what you are doing. Sweet guitar as ever.

Another classic Lynn piece, nice grove mix sound good, here the wah wah was a nice touch had a very female vocal sound.

Nice furry claw tapping groove @Douglas Kirby

I will give this another listen later on my Event 20/20's I would be surprised if you needed a sub with these unless there are some issues with your room or the amp you are driving them with.
-
I agree with Douglas this has a nice cool groove to it.
-
Thank you sir you are most kind, I will admit to having some help, but what is the point of having some superb MIDI editing tools if you do not take advantage of them.
-

Listened to the first track cool grooving @kennywtelejazz cool grooving. -
You certainly got your funky groove on with this @mark skinner, I suspect that the snare could come back a tad more once the Cello kick in but only just a tad.

Look at the routing, you are mixing two Sends together A track send and the Output of the Track, which is in effect just another send. Your are mixing at your New Master Aux Track that is feeding your Mains there is no Feedback loop to be had. Nothing is feeding back in to anything else. What your statement above suggested was that you could have an Aux send out of the Master Buss to a track and then send that back to the Master that is not possible, because it forms a loop. Please look closely at your diagram there is no loop of audio watch the Gif below see the response I get when I try to do what you claim

It is not possible to assign the output of an Aux track to the Master Buss, if the Master Buss has a send assigned to the aux track this would cause a feed back loop.
