  1. A Q @abacab .. If you have Scaler 2 ( I have this ) .. why also would you need Waveform, even the free version?
  2. @abacab @ZincT Ye ( and i ) mentioned Instachord and Instacomposer. WA Prod have InstaChord 2 & Expansions on sale BF for $29 https://www.waproduction.com/bundles/view/instachord-2-and-expansions Same goes for Instacomposer & expansions - $29 https://www.waproduction.com/bundles/view/instacomposer-and-expansions Instachord and Instacomposer on there own are on sale for $19 each
  3. @abacab I started a thread in the CoffeeHouse about Synapse Audio defunct DAW called ORION. I got this back in the naughties but in 2015 they shelved it. Really liked it, still have it installed. After it got shelved I bought FL Studio as similar to Orion, got it for knock down price too. Then i ended up with reason lite via an actual keyboard controller with bundled software .. so paid very little for those 2. In real terms I use CW and Reaper .. the latter more at the mo because we needed a cross platform DAW as some members are on Mac. With respect to MIDI pattern generators I have much of the stuff Audio modern has in this regard plus WA Productions offering insta composer I would have to look at the Tracktion generators in Waveform I always have believed in buying stuff at knock down prices, never pay full if nothing more than to get in at the ground floor even though I may not use a VST or app for a time
  4. Yes @Wibbles .. I too prefered it back then to FL Studio and bought it. Synapse have been sitting on it since 2015 .. am really surprised it has not been rereleased or at least appear for free on mags etc
  5. I still have this installed though it was discontinued in 2015. Shame as its a very nice tidy DAW. Similar idea to FLSTUDIO. Its still available as a download in my Synapse Audio account. Last version was 8.6. Seems its still being used. Im surprised someone hasnt re released this software if Synapse wont Below is an Italo disco track made using Orion in 2021 https://www.synapse-audio.com/news-orion-studio-86-isoutnow.html
  6. I suppose it also opens up the Q why another DAW on top of in my case - CW, Reaper, Ableton, Fruity and Reason lite I bought 11 a good while back but never really used it
  7. Upgrade to Waveform Pro V12 on CYBER MONDAY - Normally $99 .. if eligible $49.50. You need Waveform 11 license (Pro or OEM) https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-pro-whats-new https://marketplace.tracktion.com/waveform-12-pro-upgrade.html Coupon is CYBER2022 or FRIDAY22
  8. CHIPSPEECH also looks interesting - bring out your inner Herbie hancock https://www.plogue.com/products/chipspeech.html Vintage speech synthesizer chipspeech is a vintage-style speech synthesizer which recreates the sound of famous 80′s voice synthesis chips. It features 12 different voices, each with its own characteristic timbre. It is specially tailored for musical needs – simply type in your lyrics, and then play on your MIDI keyboard. It’s a true synthesizer, the sound can be extensively modified for easy and expressive performances. chipspeech also features a circuit bending emulation, letting you not only recreate the insane and chaotic sound of a circuit bent TI speaking device, but also use it in a controlled, musical way.
  9. The OPS7 is the "Perfect DX7 and DX1/5 emulation" according to our keyboard player ( @ZincT your wallet may be pursuaded ) In terms of emulation, Plogue goes all-in: by exactly matching the digitally captured output of the original EGS and OPS chips, we've recreated every nugget of sound from the original keyboard. This includes exact envelope stepping patterns that vary note-to-note, every facet of the convoluted pitch calculation, and absolutely identical operator math for each algorithm down to the bit. The analog side of the original keyboards and modules is also recreated with lavish attention to detail: you want the unique crunchiness of the original DAC? We got it down to its insane compander and the full analog filtering section. Guaranteed 100% free of any samples! https://www.plogue.com/store.html CHIPSYNTH OPS7 review:
  10. Ahhhhh correct. I keep mixing up these. Yes Ihave 11 intro .. it has europa
  11. As per my post above yours .. I have Reason 11 Intro and it does come with Europa and lots more
  12. No @telecode 101 .. BUT if you had Reason Intro 11 then you can. It came with the Reason Rack Plugin which basically opens Reason inside Cakewalk etc as you can see in my image below. From there you can load any Reason instrument / efx in a track in CW etc I am sure this rack plugin is available with current Reason also If you own MIDI controllers from Akai, Alesis, and M-Audio and login to your account online currently, you can get 6 MONTHS OF REASON+ FOR FREE
  13. 100% @Grem .. however i ended up using REAPER also purely because it is a relatively very cheap cross platform solution when this is needed. ( as you know CW is ONLY PC / Windows based ) In my case I have band members in 3 different countries and 2 of them are MAC people so Reaper came through as a great cost effective solution to facilitate all in this case.
  14. @cclarry I use Echolot but stumbled on this Reaper theme also. I did what it said, moved the themefile + folder into the Reaper ColorThemes folder. Doesnt appear in the options / themes menu. Drag drop the themefile onto reaper .. yes it switches to what appears a very basic ver of this theme and still doesnt appear under the options / themes menu. Id say its not seeing the themes gui graphics subfolder. Any ideas? C:\Audio Apps\Reaper\InstallData\ColorThemes
  15. TBH as long as it takes to do these Arturia updates if you have V collection .. this update in general is probably not much use to most ( unless you are visually impaired, have a minilab or need more tutes ). Probably good idea to skip it and wait until next update which probably will be cumulative?
  16. A set of brand new plugins from AIR MUSIC TECH - 8 in all https://www.airmusictech.com/ "8 incredible new plugins developed by AIR for the award-winning Akai Professional MPC platform are now available for your DAW in VST/AU/AAX formats."
  17. @Wibbles My bit of advice is IF you are coming up to renewal dont just renew, cancel the sub altogether, they will then pretty fast come back with a renewal offer far lower than the list price I hear you re noodling, it is very open to that .. great though for trying out in original tracks for ideas esp as the BPM syncs up with the track and allows you to test
  18. AND they DO NOT have a field to enter a biz VAT number for us biz buyers The VAT amount is removed with a biz VAT number
  19. That "limited time discount" for all 3 should at least be perpetually held for owners of V1 when one considers there is no upgrade price for same?
  20. Already installed last night .. nice bass synth. I cancelled my annual Loopcloud sub in September after 2 or 3 years. More or less immediately got an email with an offter to renew at half price $50/€50 .. could not pass that by vs €109 So now i have loopcloud reduced further via this freebie normally worth $70
  21. Have they done this with all the past issues now I wonder? For the "Specials"
  22. So it looks like going forward they will add own "open source" content to Filesilo for eveyone regardless but then have a seperate process for mag subscribers. Be interesting what they say tomorrow
  23. Aha @abacab ... I wasnt aware of what you said in bold, that CA had said this. I thought Filesilo had gotten broken and was open only for a while. So one would wonder WHY bother with Filesilo anymore as it was very connected with the purchase of the mag
