  1. As owner of EastWest Spaces II, would you please tell me if it includes IRs for the Ryman Auditorium? Thank you, sir.
  2. According to https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/price-history/string-machine-by-eastwest/ this is the lowest price ever for String Machine!
  3. FYI, AmpleSound guitars have a variable slide based on the velocity of the destination note. However, the fret noise during slides seem a little too loud to me and cannot be adjusted.
  4. This one certainly passes as a classical guitar. But the slide fret noise seem overly loud (a common problem with other VIs, too). The attack seems overly bright (it sounds like the player is always using a rest stroke). Are there hammer-ons/pull-offs? They sound like just short slides (which sound different). This could be a big omission. If you're looking for something more authentic you'll have to wait for a summer sale and get AmpleSound or OrangeTree. IMHO those are still the best ones out there right now.
  5. Same here. But the website does say: -20% DISCOUNT FOR REMATRIX FULL OWNERS Get this library 20% off using the personal coupon code.

    Piano-In-Blue $49

Hmmm, back when I was auditioning all my piano samples I wrote down that this one had some broken hammers and black-listed it. I think that means there was too much hammer noise on some samples. Doesn't anyone else hear these? Unfortunately I didn't write down which notes were the problems.
  8. Ahh, now it works. My upgrade price is $209.65. I only have 10 of the 32 plugins, so this would be about $9.50 per plugin. Would I use them? Still thinking on this one.
  9. Thanks, but that sounds like a really convoluted workflow (nyuk, nyuk). I found it easier to just send an impulse thru the reverb and save the output as a *.wav file. It's OK for a few IR's but Waves comes with 1000's. A script is the only way to do that effectively and the only one I know of (wir2wav from github doesn't appear to work on the new files). Thus my request if anyone knows of an alternative converter.
  10. https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/anthology-xii/ Enhance the Sound of your Recordings and Mixes with Anthology XII. Upgrades as low as $29! And the website says "Save over 60% on the most comprehensive plug-ins collection for mixing & mastering". But I think the website is having difficulties right now because it's not recognizing my existing products that would be eligible for a discount. Yesterday my price was $299 but today I just see the full sale price of $599.
  11. I'd love to stop using Waves, but I can't find a way to convert their WIR (Waves IR) files to the more universal WAV file. That Python script doesn't appear to work anymore. Where else can I get my hands on an IR for the Ryman Auditorium? As it is, I'll keep using their IR1 and IRL convolutional reverbs.

  14. Hmmm, I get no notices like this at all!
  15. There are windows versions of these.
  16. It takes me too much work to get realistic sounds out of 8DIO libraries. Lots of articulations, but hard to utilize. Maybe it's just me...

  23. Yes, use Sonarworks SystemWide. Leave it one and don't worry about it.
  24. Beware as the author is fixing some bugs on this. According to KVR this has only been tested on Ardour and Reaper. The GUI fails to appear in Studio One. Not sure about Cakewalk.
  25. Sharine is great because it includes the pre-roll you hear just before the tambourine strikes. It sounds pretty dog-gone real. It includes several patterns that you can edit to suit your needs.
