How do you like your Alvarez? I haven't had one in decades. That model looks really interesting. Currently I am limited to two acoustics, both Takamine (sound great, not super upset if I ding them around playing a live set) which I really like. To the spending part, I hear you. I'm taking my wife to one of those Brazilian "meat party" restaurants for our anniversary soon and I know that will cost more than this guitar!

Looks like that more expensive guitar and other DLX and similar still get set up by a luthier in the US according to their listings but the $100 tele copy still seems pretty well-received and I may take a chance on one due to being able to do basic setup tasks myself anyway. Also because the coronavirus doesn't live very long on surfaces

This isn't just a basic reverb or some general IRs of just some random space. This is Sunset Sound, even the three chambers are worth a lot. They sound amazing, which isn't surprising based on what material was recorded using those chambers (and rooms, and plates, spring reverbs, and ISO booths) and all of the impulses were recorded through the Sunset Studio consoles. Obviously if this doesn't interest you, it doesn't interest you but this isn't "$150 (or $250 later) for just a reverb". That's a massive trivialization and minimizing what this product really offers. It would cost you far more to book time at Sunset Sound and do it yourself and even then... These would be better. Edit - and "only Peter knows" is incorrect about any item in your account. The support team would know and can look directly for you and they'd be happy to assist.

I hope IK unveils some cool stuff... Oh, wait, we will! One is already out of the bag, but you'll know what gear is included during NAMM. There are many that emphasize desktop studio/home studio use, both hardware and software. Some mobile, but we'll focus on the already-announced Creator Series items there, maybe one more announcement that covers both desktop and mobile, and 2020 is the 10th anniversary of iRig so there will be a little mobile hooplah but not the main focus. And maybe a little surprise that we can't announce until right before it happens so those on social media may want to keep an eye on our channels there if you use social media, if not this surprise should be covered elsewhere if we can make that happen in time.

Doesn't hurt that Epic put 1.2 million into Blender with the recent megagrant contribution, either. Blender + Unreal Engine is a powerful combination even for uses outside of gaming. Not sure of any Blender use in the process, but I found it fascinating how The Mandalorian uses UE4 to render real-time sets and apparently the projection of these realtime sets allows for great interactive lighting that helps while shooting. I also thought I had read that some of these UE4 sets made it into the final products. Cool stuff all around.

I'm not laughing, I'm flattered! I really do like my "P-Fuzz" custom pedal. It is a Pfeiffer O-Fuzz but with additional functions and left very hot like the original O-Fuzz before they tamed it (and also had sent out or installed a fix for those wimps who thought it was too over the top... boo!). Speaking of Wilco, I am a huge Parks and Recreation fan and was laughing my azz off when I saw Jeff Tweedy playing the role of a local musician. Also happy to see Letters To Cleo, as I know most of those folks from my Boston days. But I digress...

You could buy that pedal a la carte in Custom Shop if you'd like to finish your collection. If people buy one piece or smaller bundle at a time, they do not have MAX and like Komplete we do not change separate bundles into the whole package as there are different benefits to different people's needs when buying things whichever way they choose. Sorry you feel it is a "sad business model" or "absurd" since it does not work for those who may lack a few pieces of gear and there isn't a bundle to complete their set or buying the few items a la carte won't work for their needs (though it also does work for many, as people do have different needs). For these cases, the suggestion for a completion method that is not buying a la carte gear has been relayed to the team. Thank you,
