  1. I think we have similar tastes. Rush was my first love but Pink Floyd is probably played as much if not more here. I have never seen Floyd with Waters unfortunately as that would have been difficult since they broke up when I was pretty young but I did get to see them five times in the same NY/NJ stretch of the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour which was still an amazing experience.
  2. I was about to say Rush was my favorite of the bands mentioned so far in that subplot but you just HAD to throw the national treasure Weird Al into it didn't you??
  3. Yes. And all of the software will run on M1 Macs. MODO DRUM M1 native, the others via Rosetta.

  8. Thanks and I'm glad you pointed out that thread too, as I had updated some other places but missed some threads! I added a note about the email going out above, too, so hopefully that should help as well.
  9. Incorrect. We released v1.1.2 today, there's a news piece on the front page of our site. MODO DRUM is M1 compatible Edit - also you should get an email soon about it if you already have MODO DRUM, which is the most effective communication so I'm sure word will spread better when that's fully out! I hope

  11. The first two lines certainly work for PCs: You need cooling, Baby I'm not fooling
  12. Thanks for the suggestions, @Zo For others interested, note that T-RackS Comprexxor will be included in Total Studio 3 MAX only through June 30th. Thanks.
  13. I'd rather they release Viva Piñata 3 before Windows 11. Also late to the "looks like macOS" party but I'd rather they copy macOS's UNIX underpinnings than the visuals. Just pick something better than FreeBSD, please and thank you.
  14. Oooo I don't think that's boring. I have the BOSS red power/master switch unit but this could replace that and save one space if I get rid of my other tuner pedal.
  15. Only public hair? Whew, the private hair sounds kinda gross We can put together a new processor that's fully rusted and call it Lockjaw.
  16. You didn't have me until that last part, that really sells it 🤣 It would be a repeat but if we did Opto Compressor that's a good compressor as the hardware version is unique. Edit - I have to check if it is rust-free though.
  17. We give away a ton of other plugins too. But looking at the data this is still one of our most popular purchased plugins (surprising to me, too, but true) so we decided to give it away this month for those that don't have it and might be hesitant because it really isn't as "slick" as other plugins but does indeed do its job well. Maybe the next one will float your boat.
  18. I still have a Surface Pro as well and it is also great. It's capable for audio too, and the touch screen is a plus for all intended uses in my opinion.
  19. I picked up the 16GB M1 MacBook Pro with 1TB SSD. For mostly non-audio use, though. What audio software I do have on there performs admirably [shameless plug, the M1 fix for MODO DRUM due to no AVX support on M1 being one of those] but I'd never have chosen 8GB if I planned on using it more for audio, and still wanted the additional RAM for other uses (still graphics and video, general usage). It's a great laptop with amazing battery life which I absolutely appreciate and love, but for my real audio needs I think I'm going to stick with my 24-core dual CPU Windows workstation with 96GB RAM thank you very much (and even there I know there are going to be plenty of instances where nowhere near the full power/cores/RAM will be utilized efficiently by every piece of software I choose to run). Just like I'm not going to use this laptop or the audio workstation Windows machine for gaming, I'll stick to the PC I have which was optimized for that purpose, with carefully chosen specs and components.
  20. The cabinets were all redone using the robot to capture the massive number of IRs, across all gear in AmpliTube 5, SE, and MAX with exceptions only being some in the Metal collection that were destroyed by flood damage thus couldn't be re-measured sadly.
  21. I had to use the "ha ha" button but only because there's no "relatable" button available.
  22. Using the tape algos that we do on this leads to some really nice lo-fi sounds. Some of the audio demos are pretty "crunchy" and/or "fluttery" etc. Though many are played by Luca Zabbini so they're also impeccably played which doesn't help 🙂
