Just download latest installer of BandLab Assistant and then install it after quit BandLab Assistant if it's still running. FYI: Probably you can not quit BandLab Assistant from Gear icon after Update Failed. But you can quit from right click menu on Task tray icon. (or kill task in the Task manager.)

It seems I'm getting emails based on my Notification Settings. My Notification Settings: Checked on Email section One email per day with all new content from that day Someone quotes a comment or post I made Someone mentions me in a post etc...

I had same problem updating to v4.0.0 from v3.3.0. (About updating to v5.0.1 from v4.0.0 was no problem.) I just downloaded latest installer of BandLab Assistant and then installed it without uninstalling old BandLab Assistant. It's works. "Read - Unread Separator" is not noticeable. More bold, other color or changing background color temporarily?

That's easy way and good! @Jesse Jost Is it better that unchecking selected checkbox in BandLab section on the Account Settings?

I did just download Latest installer and then install it. (No need to uninstall old BA before install it.)
