  1. Been testing the trial version for a week. It’s interesting for some plug and play action and it sounds great. For me it’s of little use but I know some guitar players who’ll love this plug.
  2. Too many knobs on his effects…
  3. Well, now I have it. No tax at Thomann so it was way too cheap to let it pass 😎
  4. I don’t need more drums…. I might need this, tho. Best price I’ve ever seen on progressive foundry!
  5. If it was $99 it would be on my hard drive already. Nice instrument, though.
  6. I got the Soldano and I am in Love❤️ Had the Gojira from before (a tone monster) and I really like these amp sims.
  7. Yeah, it’s not that much gentler on the resources, if at all, since I first got it as far as I can see. But I have a Twin quad and an Octo satellite plus a powerful computer. I never hit the ceiling on my system because of this one. However, I use this a lot on as an insert when recording so the effect is printed on the audio, and maybe on a bus or three when mixing mostly. Wouldn’t be without it, though.
  8. I did that and regret nothing. And that Distressor is great! It is one of my favorite go to weapons for awesomeness.
  9. Glad to hear you’re getting some results, Larry 👍 I haven’t used it enough yet as I just got Cubase and I’m still finishing up stuff in Logic. But seems like there’s no difference here in performance. I’m on an Intel Mac, however. I assisted on some mixing in a friends studio the other day, who is a long time user, and he is also very happy with 12 on a PC. Uses MIDI remote and all kinds of stuff in it
  10. I bought it directly from Steinberg
  11. Been working in 12 all night. Only Found a few GUI glitches (on a Mac), but other than that it’s been rock solid and new features are gold. I really like it! I think I will abandon Logic as soon as I’m done with all my projects in it. For those of you who struggle to get the upgrade, it’ll be worth the wait. I promise! I hope you get it sorted out very soon, though👍 BTW: I just got my license in November as a competitive cross grade, so new to Cubase sort of. I’ve been working with dialogue to video (dubbing/versioning/VO/animatics) for years and years in Nuendo at a high end studio and never done music in it before. Gotta say, wish I’d jumped on the Cubase wagon a long time ago.
  12. Wow, that’s actually quite interesting
  13. Of course. Sorry, I meant for hosting UAD plug-ins 😎
  14. Too bad there are no DSP chips in these, bit I guess it makes sense it this price point. Still very interesting. I think I might grab one of these in November.
  15. Oh man, who’d thunk a desk bell could be like this! I love the real deal and that’s why I get kicked out of hotel lobbies, but they took it to the next level with this one😅 dunno if I’ll ever find much use for it, but I’ve just spent to of the loveliest hours I’ve had so far this October with it now!

    Windows 11?

Pretty sure to reduce long mouse travels when you open the start menu on a 49” widescreen monitor 😉
  17. Haha! Either I’m going blind or that didn’t show up when I checked the offer when it launched a few weeks back😝😝 anyways, thanks👍
  18. Cool! Thanks for the info! Much appreciated! Couldn’t find it on their site.
  19. Do you know for how long? I’m Considering getting this.
  20. Haha!! The NI website is syrup slow! 😂🤩 I’m getting the Cremona Quartet upgrade this year. Nothing else I need or want, but this will be great!
  21. I just spent a few hours with it and wow, this is a whole new ballgame! Sounds great and it’s ridiculously easy to use! You can make anything from your bread and butter delays and echoes up to some seriously freaky sounding stuff! It runs in circles around version 2 in terms of versatility, ease of use and functions. I do think this will be my go to delay for sure! and Zo, it doesn’t add much character but it breathes a fresh breath of life into your signal. For tape and tube delays, I’d look elsewhere, but for everything else, this is a winner for me.
  22. I find that FF plugs are extremely transparent. Timeless 2 has a tape emulation thing going but otherwise is very transparent as well. I use other things for character when I want that. I suppose TLv3 is the same. I just picked it up for cheap but won’t have time to dive in properly yet. Curious to hear how it sounds.
