  1. I agree 1000% with this post, especially the last entry on the listšŸ˜… but anyway, itā€™s really hard to find something that actually is a bad DAW ā€¦that isnā€™t made by AVIDšŸ˜‰ (and even that gets the job done)
  2. Fair enough i guess. I thought it was weird theyā€™d invest in player compatibility for the cheap versions and not the flagship. I mean, you can still use full Kontakt for player libraries, but it is so convenient for NKS users to have the player compatibility. And theyā€™d potentially get a bunch of customers who donā€™t want full Kontakt
  3. Thatā€™s what, 5 years on overtime? And not Kontakt player compatible? Very weirdā€¦ I have, use and love the Micro. I have the Elements and I hate it. It has that annoying metallic sound to it. Weird, since the micro sounds so different. Listening to the demoes of the Ensemble it doesnā€™t impress me at all. And I had high hopes for this when I first got the Micro. Money saved, Iā€™ll stick to what I have. But I am glad they made the MicrošŸ‘
  4. I have played around with it for a few days and I kind of like it, but it is weird. It definitely is a high frequency saturator, but there are some shifting in the frequencies that seem a bit random. I guess that is what they talk about by it introducing real life into a static IR. I think it will be worth something in my arsenal, but it should never cost much. I think half of what you pay for it is for the GUI TBH. But a useful tool none the less. I think. I will test it on vocals and drums in a mix tomorrow.
  5. I wasnā€™t going to spend money on my studio this year, but this upgrade became one of the exceptions to confirm that rule. Very happy I did. Not a revolutionary upgrade but it irons out some significant annoyances for me. yeah, the color scheme is a bit hard to look at but I spent some time tweaking it to my liking. Overall, Iā€™m happy with upgrading, and it seems surprisingly stable so far for a Steinberg release.
  6. Managed to activate the demo. This works for me. The difference between using my headphones vs my speakers are way smaller now. It sounds like the sound is coming from a speaker position. Just got to see how a mix translates to everything else first. It irritates me a little that it costs money, but Iā€™m pretty sure Iā€™m getting this.
  7. This looks cool. Seems like their servers are down. Canā€™t activate the trialšŸ˜…
  8. Same here. Doesnā€™t matter for me. Wonā€™t buy anything anyway, but I canā€™t remember if I have MPS or not, and if I do, what version.
  9. Not worth full price, good for the sale price if you need it. Saved my ***** a couple times, and remedied some really bad recordings Iā€™ve received from others.
  10. Oh noā€¦ I really liked the dimb9
  11. Hmm. They only have one plugin for sale now it seems. Are we seeing the end of OhmForce? Anyone know? Surely they need to be selling more than one plug-in to survive.
  12. Oooooohhhhā€¦. I miss my 1616m. Iā€™ve never loved an interface more.
  13. I got rid of all my IK stuff years ago. Never really missed any of it. Seems Iā€™ve saved myself a lot of headachesā€¦

Those folks can charge anything for whatever they make. This is rather ridiculous.
  15. Iā€™m sure itā€™s great, but $700 for a single fader and some standard buttons is kinda brutal šŸ˜…
