  1. It looks like that NUX is also an audio device and has an ASIO driver available. The MIDI will be just for controlling the amp: channel switching, effects on and off, etc Be aware that ASIO only allows you to use one driver at a time. In my opinion, these sort of devices don't quite live up to their promise as far as the audio interface portion, especially when it comes to playback and mixing. I think it is better to use the line out into a dedicated audio interface and forget about trying to use the amp as such. That's how I used to use my Line 6 floor pod before it bit the dust. It might work out for you though, depending on what your goal is. All of your audio will have to be going through the NUX however.
  2. But that's for a pack of 25 so they're only about $626 each.
  3. This is a two year old dead thread. It would be better to start your own and give some details.
  4. Nobody is claiming that Crapple doesn't make high quality stuff. It is just overpriced and we despise their business model.
  5. Grossly over engineered snake oil but snake oil nonetheless.
  6. It's really unfortunate that your stench has found it's way upstairs now. Go back under the bridge where you came from.
  7. I prefer to think of it as "short and to the point." I'm not giving my doctoral dissertation here. I prefer to think of it as "tough love." In light of so many of your posts here, I find your objections to my manner quite amusingly ironic. If I really hurt your feelings so much, feel free to ignore me. Don't worry: I think with enough therapy I'll be able to recover from the trauma. I still love you, though, Princess.
  8. Be aware that DaVinci Resolve requires a ton of horsepower to run and it has quite the learning curve.
  9. Nobody is claiming the Cakewalk is bug free. But you know that. You just look for every excuse you can find to troll. There is a whole sub forum dedicated to nothing but feature requests and bug reports, what's the Bakers are more than happy to address. But vague bitching and moaning ain't going to get you anything; you have to actually document things. But you know that....
  10. Yeah. I'm just not the superlative genius that Mr. "I use Cakewalk since Sonar 5. Believe me I don't need a manual" is. Because I'm stupid, the first thing I would have done is start looking at the documentation and it probably would have taken me a whole 5 minutes to solve the problem. Oh, wait... Maybe I'm not the stupid one after all....
  11. Bullshit. Its snake oil just like overpriced "audiophile" speaker wire and guitar cables.
  12. The right tool for editing video is a video editor, not a DAW.
  13. It was originally $150 but the Department of Justice was about to bring suit against them for price gouging.
  14. Yet nobody complains about Logic being Mac only....
  15. It's not a bug. It's you trying to use some substandard bootleg garbage instead of proper equipment.. Funny how nobody with a real audio interface set up correctly has problems like this....
  16. No offense, but what happened to you were going to put me on your ignore list? You sure do love to jump in and get offended by things I say to someone else that don't concern you.
  17. No offense, but if you hadn't been too smart to "need a manual" you would have solved this in five minutes.
  18. F--- 'em! Amplitube works just fine in CW. As does Guitar Rig, TH-U, Softube and pretty much every other amp sim. FYI Amplitube's Jimi Hendrix is very nice....
  19. They already have it: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/7-instruments-effects/
  20. Hell no! I've spent too much money on good cymbals to let them go to waste!
