Sooooooo, what did you finally purchase ? J -
@msmcleod I checked and RipX (or its vst name RipLink) is vst3 only. So I guess no, it won't work with 8.5 J
-
It works as a dll in CbB for sure. I can try if in Splat for you,. If your installation of 8.5 is 64bit then it “should”work…….. J

Thanks Keni, maybe the doubters will now believe !!!

My main music is rock. I also have Soundforge something and Goldwave. No, i don’t need it. I must be honest though,, i did not spend/waste too much time on it, but…… Looking forward to Sonar however. J

i’m in France. Rumble is banned there for the moment. Any chance of trying somewhere else ? If not i’ll try with a VPN from somewhere more exotic. Quote : NOTICE TO USERS IN FRANCE Because of French government demands to remove creators from our platform, Rumble is currently unavailable in France. We are challenging these government demands and hope to restore access soon. Unquote. J

And it now becomes Ripx DAW. And RipX DAW Pro, depending what flavour you own or huy.. Plus, its dll version works with CbB 2019.05 and above. If you're registered you should have received an update link in a mail. If not . Try and buy here : https://hitnmix.com/buy-ripx/ J

Yep, the self styled Drunken Chef and Beatles expert amongst other things. Didn’t like (constructive) criticism of his “works”. Fun reading. J

You are aware that nobody except the Bakers know the pricing structure ? Don’t believe any pure gossip and speculation you read on the forums - nobody knows. J

I used one of these websites once for Office. It stopped working after 2 years and on contacting MS they told me the serial was pirated. Hmmm. YMMV, but never again. J

I use Ashampoo 2021 for burning a few CD’s per month. It does what i want it to. J

You’re still hung up about Gibson ?
-
Well, maybe you should get upstairs more often, you’d have found the answer to your rhetoric question/statement a long time ago……….. ? But to answer your real question, yes, it does to my tired eyes.If you’re looking to get something 4k I would advise you to wait until Cakewalk Sonar appears with its scalable thingies. From what my limited brain cells understand, it will be better. J

I’ve just updated my version of FL. Oh well, another dive into the registry to get rid of its faux Asio driver. J

It's official: CbB will not continue for long.

No, i think you’ll find most people think of Audacity’s editing features (some easier to use than CbB …….) but it is very limited in terms of if you think its a DAW. But anyway, why stop using CbB ? Its not going away.
