Hello, i have this really annoying white horizontal line that suddenly appeared on boot up today. From the moment the Bios kicks in and onwards its there I’ve tried reseating cables (power and from pc), re-booting (hot and cold) stopping/starting monitor electrically, and its still there. Not affecting work but I’d like to get rid of it. Video card or monitor issue ? Thanks in advance for any advice/input. J

This has to be the worst upgrade of all - i already have both Nectar 4 and Ozone 11 (Advanced). When questioned, they basically told me i could always sell the licences on if i bought in. Nope, not for me, waste of money. J

The person who recorded that must have other things going on at the same time. I have very very few issues with Kontakt libraries un Sonar. J

I remember during a Led Zep concert at Earls Court, the 20 mn drum solo ……….. was sooooooooo long, but the «special cigarettes » most people had brought along certainly helped pass the time. JPJ didn’t afaik play a solo. Ouf ! J

Yes, me, in-situ upgrade done a year ago, but not using the OP’s method. No issues. Yes it does, all was present and correct, no issues there. FWIW i cloned my W10 HDD before applying the upgrade. J

Use Event Viewer to remove any wheel actions. J

I do the same thing. For drums i use EZ Drummer 3 and for bass EZBass. if i need piano, i use AD keys,. Organ is Rapture Session. you’ll need to use the CbB Event viewer to remove any wheel movements etc. J

Then why not use CbB ? Its free …………

You can also use them in the synth rack. J

32 bit, don’t bother. (YMMV but ….) if you’re going to revisit old projects, simply insert the 64bit version. Thats a good excuse to re mix. J

In todays modern world there is no reason whatsoever to not put your daw online, at least for updates. YMMV but mine has been online for years, no issues, you just need to avoid dodgy sites ……. J

Guitar Pro : ref audio files - no it doesn’t. You can import midi files and generate tabs. Audio files can only be used as reference tracks to play along with - IF (note the big if) you can line them up with your midi or GP files 100% of the time, good luck. ………and the drummer on the audio file is a real metronome !. But, yes there are many tabs/files available for d/l. Free or not. J

No, you don’t. Activation is now done using the Help menu. And this for some time.. J

On your Melodyned clip/track use "Bounce to clips" once you've finished tinkering around with it. Then add Gtr Rig J

Complementing this post - for those NOT using iLok, Windows changed my PC and Laptop identity/references, so I had to re-register my "new" devices with such VST's providers as Toontrack, XLN, Izotope ......... J

The people i deal with (Thomann) use UPS, who at least call before they deliver or when they are outside your gate. Lets be honest a mobile phone call costs 2x nothing for a company…….., The few times i’ve had companies thar deal with Fedex, never.. pita etc. J
