  1. Be careful I updated and paid 172 euros, then of couse got the up date mail a few minutes ago.for 99 USD…….. I also await their reply J.
  2. No need to be. When you find your program for the first time, simply pin it to the start menu. I’ve done that for Control Panel, Services, Task Scheduler, System etc plus the apps that i use frequently. Loving W11 here on desktop and a so called un upgradable laptop. J
  3. I also binge watched it. Brilliant, roll on season 2 ! J
  4. The most simple solution would be to purchase a sound device (Focusrite, Presonus etc) that has its own dedicated Asio drivers…….. J
  5. Duane Allman and his slide work. and the one and only Albert Lee
  6. Bugs ? C’mon,. Enlighten the faithful please. J
  7. Sorry , got to the South West before you (44 years ago ......). But we can share if you like ? J
  8. @BapuJust to satisfy enquiring minds, since my W11 rig updated this morning, I can now get it to install and fire up but it won’t split a file, it just shows loading. Have you tried splitting ? It appears it can’t read the AI model according to SC. J
  9. There are others lurking …… hello from a rather soggy La Charente ! J
  10. I’ve never see anything so ridiculous before. This takes rhe bicuit.
  11. i’m in France, I have this for my bank, Amazon, Paypal and various other shop services etc. I login then, they send an sms with a code which i input and i’m good to go. 99/100……… No biggie. My telecom provider however gives me a choice - either using a password to login to their servers or using a pin code with a second code sent by their servers to my mobile. I never installed such an app on my iPhone, but obviously they are the provider who knows what they’ve hard wired in …….. i find this second method intrusive. So for the moment I make sure remember my password. It’s supposed to increase security………… BUT, in your case,. I’d probably tell them where to put it and go elsewhere. J
  12. Thank you for taking the time to confirm what I posted above. J
  13. Yeah ok, then the Bakers are wrong……. I’ll try installing an old version.. Tomorrow,
  14. i suggest you read the above and i quote in case you can’t be bothered : “Note: Because earlier versions of Cakewalk can no longer be activated, there is no rollback installer available for the 2023.09 release.” so did i say it or not ? Oops. Hey, no worries, J
  15. So what you’re saying is the Bakers are spreading mis info ? J
  16. You can no longer roll back. There is only one installer for CbB that can be activated, and this by the internet . All the others don’t work/cannot be activated. J
  17. iBTL (getting tedious) So you went on line to download and install it.? There is your answer. You were on line to install/activate it = no nag screen. Think about it …… J
  18. I think the beauty of the mobile phone is its capacity to capture the ideas you have on the fly . The problem is, when you try and translate those ideas into workable songs in a DAW - do you start with rhythm guitar or percussion (i don’t do beats or similar “music”) ? Given the “lack” of good tab in CbB, i use Guitar Pro to try and get my ideas straight. I can then get drums and bass sorted. Import the midi into CbB. Re do the bass and add guitar and keyboards if necessary. I adree completely with @bats brew the modern DAW is the way. YMMV J
  19. No, some of us do get it right and communicate thus via Facebook. We don’t advise the re-install route you think we do. You maybe don’t belong to all the forums and therefore read all the posts - I know i don’t read them all… i can’t ! But there are some people on the various forums who know as much as you or i do ? and we communicate on this subject like you do. No one is perfect. No offense, but …… J
  20. So you’re thinking you should be automatically included ? Did you sign up as soon as they were looking for beta testers ? Zen is the way, forward, but Cubase ……. Good luck., whatever, keep making music !!! J
