See https://cherryaudio.com/news/cherry-audio-releases-miniverse-module-collection-for-voltage-modular for details including a 1 minute video or https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/miniverse-module-collection for details at the store (no video). Note: The stated list price is currently $59, and the introductory price is $39. BUT: So, the deal here is: If you already own Cherry Audio's Miniverse instrument (the non-modular plugin + standalone instrument, formerly called "Minimode"), the bundle of 14 Voltage Modular modules is $19.50. BUT: If you look around, you can buy the non-modular Miniverse instrument. And if Larry were here, he might very well post a link to a discount at JRRShop using the GROUP Code. In short, $32.76 + $19.50 (not including taxes and fees) = $52.26. Disclaimer: I am a fan of Voltage Modular. That being said, its up to you to decide if this is for you, if you want to wait for sales later in the year, or you want to pass on it entirely. Recommendation: There is a demo. If it were me, I'd give the demo a try first, then check my budget and bank account, and then decide. A free seven-day demo of Miniverse Module Collection is available. This demo will play white noise periodically, but is otherwise unlimited. Details (Voltage Modular Forum): https://forums.cherryaudio.com/viewtopic.php?p=10405#p10405 CAVEAT: Some people like, prefer, and might already have vintage synth emulations of software instruments and software modular synths from other manufacturers. That's cool with me. I am just passing on information. Take it or leave it, but don't shoot the messenger or shoot down the message. Thanks.

Also, for the sake of clarity, SE has 5 kits. Two of them are ones that owners of MODO DRUM 1 have, three of them are new. With all the confusion already here, I could see someone misunderstanding and thinking that SE had 3 kits. The IK Website makes it unmistakable: At present SE has 5 kits. As far as kits listed under "Sounds," here's what I have in my User Area under Sounds for MODO DRUM SE 1.5: (1) Brit Custom, (2) Common Elements, (3) Jazzy, (4) Metal, (5) Silver. Under "Sounds" in the Product Manager I have 12 Kits. Why 12 and not 13? you might ask. Just an educated guess: the Studio kit is in all versions of MODO DRUM 1.5 (including CS), so it might be built in or automatically included in the base software and therefore not downloadable/installable as a separate kit via the Product Manager.

You must have read my post. ? I will defer to your efforts to help further. Thanks.

Amen! Clarification: I am glad that things like politics are kept out of the forum. I am aware that I share political and social views with some forum members and I disagree with the political and social views of others. Yet, I appreciate and can respect their comments on music and related matters regardless of political preferences.

What do you have at the bottom of the Preferences Dialog Box? Do you have the OK, Cancel, Apply, and Help buttons (as shown in another thread)? If you have the right Preferences Box but the bottom part is cut off, you might have a screen size / scaling issue. I seem to recall that was an issue with someone who also had a dialog box cut off at the bottom.

Now I'm confused. I thought it was clear from reports of consumer experiences that (1) people who have MODO DRUM 1.0 and who who buy MODO DRUM 1.5 SE get the 3 new drum kits unlocked (so long as they upgraded their MODO DRUM software to version 1.5) and that (2) MODO DRUM 1.0 (with software version 1.5) + MODO DRUM 1.5 SE = MODO DRUM 1.5 with 13 kits. Personally, I think all of the consumer experiences that collectively address this conclusion ^^^^ have been confirmed. Does it really matter which one?
-
That's what I thought. Thanks for reconfirming that. I understand the APD issue and how that adds to the confusion. I would be very surprised if APD's codes unlock 13 kit versions of MODO DRUM for consumers that don't have the 10-kit version , but you never know. And I agree, if that's what consumers are getting, its a good deal!!!

(1) I did read them. (2) Are you trying to say my question is not a relevant response to the post I quoted? If so, I could try to explain why I feel it is relevant.

Do you have MODO DRUM 1.5 or do you have MODO DRUM 1.0 with the software upgraded to 1.5?

Unable to Record MIDI Drums with Ekit
User 905133 replied to John David Ross's topic in Instruments & Effects
When I saw the original post, I also wondered what the source of "any sound" was (the "it)--the electronic drum kit or a soft synth. But when I saw the comment about "everything seems mapped properly in Cakewalk and Addictive Drums," I decided that he was just using the drum kit as a controller, not as a sound source. But you might be right and he is trying to record the sound from the Alesis. -
moving a bunch of tracks to a new folder shuffles order
User 905133 replied to John Bradley's topic in Feedback Loop
2022-07-28 UPDATE: Based on the following I revisited my contribution to this issue by duplicating my first test ("STEPS I USED" - cut-and-pasted below). When I did this using 2022.06 Build 034, when a group of assorted tracks were moved into a new folder, instead of reverting to the "creation order," the successfully retained the same order they were in when moved as a group. Since I was just exploring @John Bradley's concern, I will defer to his confirmation as to whether or not his issue has been solved. There seems to be some retention of the order of creation in my test. STEPS I USED: Create 5 tracks one at a time. They each get a default name that shows the order the tracks were created in. Reorder the tracks. I did not resave the new project (not sure that would make a difference). Rename the tracks to show the new order (using ordinal numbers!). Select all 5 tracks in a random order. Right click on first one. Select Move to Folder > New Track Folder. -
I didn't know about the movement, but after my post I went to Epic, saw the FX Pinball there, signed up for an account, got the free starter version, and installed it. I get a popup saying my PC doesn't support DX12. But, dxdiag says I have DX12. Not a big enough issue for me to join a movement! I know I had the MS-DOS versions running on an older PC within the past 5-10 years.

There was a similar discussion for the Memorial Day Sale I will try to find the thread, but the bottom line at the time was that this updates 1.0 to 1.5. I did this and was able to use $12 in jam points. But, if you are inclined to upgrade to TS MAX 4 when it eventually comes out, you might want to use the $40 for that.
-
Someone please let me know when they update Epic Pinball games (not the hacked versions). I miss those. Hmmmmm. Now that I think about it, maybe I can add that to my "Does anyone use XP these days?" reply (in another thread).

(1) Can we use our own samples [I think they call them Transients]? (2) Is it really 8-part multi-timbral? Thanks.

Well-crafted song on so many levels that all work together.

Among other things, I use my XP SP3 for: a calendar program that includes a variety of functions (Borland's Sidekick 98) to-do/done lists memos and notes [organizer system] that has expanded greatly probably since I started it on Win 98 historical phone numbers/addresses archival files including Cakewalk/Sonar Projects and audio files academic and other documents/research personal/family archives that don't need to clutter newer PCs/storage a slide show screen saver pointed to a folder of family photos a handful of games, some of which I pull out and play several times over the span of a decade occasional audio / midi uses networked to Windows 10 PCs the E-mu PCI card / 1820m + PatchMix DSP system still works quite well some older iConnectMIDI devices allow for connectivity between the XP and Win 10 PCs allows for different work areas across the room, different purposes, etc. no need to move gear among other music tasks, handy for running BPM gear (often more reliable than virtual synths under Win 10)

PSP stompDelay Tape Delay Plugin ($16.79 @ JRRShop)
User 905133 replied to MusicMan's topic in Deals
"Can't have too many delays!" So as a fan of delays and as fan of PSPs Voltage Modular Bundle (including their delays), I decided this small form factor plugin would be handy. PACE/ilok took a while because I don't use it much. (Wasn't even installed on my current audio PC.) I was concerned that the change log said MIDI Support was removed, but was please to see that the parameters are available via automation. Not sure why, but mine was $17.99. PS: I just saw that the JRRShop web page has details that I think contradict the 2022 Version History. But who uses XP or Vista as their main audio PC these days. Also, there was a free PianoVerb [not PianoVerb 2] in there.
