  1. Dreadful, disrespectful to the original, flawed, poorly performed, and dreadful: Metallica - Whiskey In The Jar
  2. [Sparks/Fire] ELO - Fire On High Epic B-side.
  3. Culture Club - Time (Clock Of The Heart)
  4. Just turn your house on it's side. Sorted.
  5. That's what I did and it seems to work. Much better than following the 'unsubscribe' links which don't work for me.
  6. The Long Good Friday Of its time, no doubt, but fits the movie so well. Also a top drawer acting performance from Bob Hoskins.
  7. Well, duh. Then it would be steve! 🙄 😜 Exactly. Steve cannot do = ART: Steve can do = NOT ART:
  8. Peter, Paul & Mary - Puff the Magic Dragon
  9. After the first seven hours, I wanted to kermit suicide.
  10. Er ... Ken, I believe that to be grammatically correct, your spellchecker should have prompted you to add an apostrophe; i.e., Let's Considering the title of the thread, I think there must be some deep, profound irony lurking within your post. Best wishes and much lurve from your pedantic friend Strummy. 😊
  11. Please don't encourage him
  12. Probably before Covid, so probably Stranglers at Birmingham. I am rather looking forward to attending this next year with SidStrummerUK though: Managed to get two front row seats in the balcony seating at the back as well!
  13. Indeed.* * Original version, not the remake. Agree with you there mate. Clunes was perfectly cast in Men Behaving Badly, but he must have been paid an awful lot of dosh to trash the memory of Leonard Rossiter in that god-awful remake.
  14. The only CJ I know is from Reggie Perrin. I didn't get to where I am today by knowing more than one CJ. ............. "Great!" .............................. "Super!" .................. (and still one of the finest shows ever put on TV)
  15. You'll have to shout louder than that..... his studio is pretty big and he might be right down the other end of it. Now, I might be way off the mark here .... .... but do I detect the teeniest tiniest 'ikkle bit of sarcasm there P? 😊
  16. Calling CJ ............ Calling CJ ........................

  18. That's all well and good, but .... What about all the evil-smelling uncontrolled flatulence? What about the regular walkies - regardless of whether it's wet, icy or blisteringly hot? What about the dragging of the ar5e all around the carpet? What about the embarrassing leg-humping? What about the crapping in the street? What about the drooling? What about the jumping up at complete strangers and thrusting a wet, cold nose into their private parts? And that's just Kenny. 😊
  19. If truth be told, I've been posting utter drivel in here since 2006 Notes ... ... I just never bothered to concentrate all my gibberish into one fred 😁
  20. Folks, I am now happy to publish the result's of the most comprehensive study so far conducted that deals with the accuracy of forum thread titles, specifically: Bapu's Random Thoughts For The Day It is testament to the consuming passion of my life for nigh on four minutes, and encompasses a database of some 3,392,049 posts containing 783,037,971 words across two and a half forums. In conclusion I present the following facts that I just made up: The vast majority of the literary contributions to this fred (and its predecessors) may be inane, childish, illogical, imbecilic and asinine - that's a given - but occasionally we stumble across a post that is far from random (in the sense they have actually had some thought put into them) (Peer) pressure exists. Nobody is safe 42 I will be taking questions and large brown envelopes full of cash in the lobby later. Professor Steve S.T. Rummy (UK) 22.04.2023
