  1. Kontakt updates will probably be on sale during BF. It's one of those things that opens up a lot of options.
  2. Ever walked into the forest with a sledge hammer on your shoulder? Bashed rocks to bits and pieces? Or been banging on that one rusty gate for way too long that onlookers are this close to calling for professional help? Wildebeat is the result of all that and more. It’s a modern percussive foray that has it’s heartbeat beaten in wood, metal and stone. It was recorded in the forests and abandoned buildings around here. So if you see any trolls running around looking scared, they’re probably running away from the recording sessions. Wildebeat is a modern toolkit of natural raw and designed found sound drums and percussion. It is made of an assortment of wood, metal and stone based sounds. The library is divided into two sections; natural and designed. The natural section contains all the recorded raw material in its natural form arranged into suitable kits. The designed section contains manipulated drums kits, percussion sets, hits, loops, sliced loops and fx. The library contains 261 .NKI patches, 12,881 samples and takes up 5.3 gigabytes of hard drive space. The samples are left in uncompressed WAV format to provide you with the possibility to load them into your favorite drum tool, sampler or use them as raw audio files in your DAW. Wildebeat requires the FULL VERSION of Kontakt 5. It is proven to work with version 5.8.1 and higher. It will not function in the Free Player version. Wildebeat retails for 59€ (excluding VAT where applicable). Intro price is 39€ until the 1st of January 2021. Get it here: https://www.manmakesnoise.com/wildebeat There is simple one patch demo version of the library to hear and test out the sounds: https://www.manmakesnoise.com/freebies Also the original teaser:
  3. I grabbed these as they have been on my radar for a time and I'm loving the sound and I find the wordbuilder quite straight forward. For me this kind of product makes sense since I use Falcon quite a bit into which this loads nicely.
  4. Testing out some patches from a library I'm working on with Man Makes Noise:
  5. These are some of my most used plugins. Totally underrated and totally worth every penny.
  6. This one is special. Got to test it out before the release and it has some nice tricks up it's sleeves. Can recommend!
  7. Do note they are still in beta mode and will probably notify users once they get out of beta. I did get a message (I'm there as a developer) and I'd assume they will email everyone later on.
  8. They are merging all their different sites under one roof. At least Kontakt Hub and Sampleism are there (there were others as well, but for the life of me can't remember them). Everything is legit so no worries.
  9. I've really grown to like the tone of their ukulele. I can def recommend it.
  10. I didn't like the clean sound of this at all. No sir, not my cup of tea.
  11. Oh, just a shameless jump off to different stuff in the new Beat: there's a nice little review on page 70...
  12. Mostly the sounds and platform. These are ridiculoudly over priced at their normal price. Personally I find that Keep Forest products are more meh than other offerings of their kind. Even at this price I can't get excited about them. KF products never end up in anything I finish.
  13. Personally I have no problem with affiliate links. If the deal is good it's nothing to me to help out a fellow music maker, we both gain something. Sure being open about it would be best, but to me the idea that an affiliate link is worse than a regular link is just odd.
  14. You can download them to any computer and then transfer them. The downloads are just a bunch of zip or rar files that you unpack. Their downloader does all that for your and that is it.
  15. Cosmos and Pulse-Tec are cool the real winner of these deals is Echoes: https://www.jrrshop.com/nomad-factory-echoes It is something oddly special.
  16. Well that went to these deal makers fast.
  17. Demoed more and pulled the trigger. It is in fact quite nice once you get around the concept.
  18. After a quick demo this feels like a bit of a gimmick. Wasn't overly thrilled by the characteristics of the reverb it provided. But will test on.
  19. Last days to grab Man Makes Noise's cinematic pad and atmosphere collection for the introductory price of 29€ (excluding VAT) before it goes to full price. The intro sale runs out at the end of the month so hurry up! https://www.manmakesnoise.com/puro
  20. Just when you thought you didn't need another reverb...
  21. Virharmonic has nothing to do with Wotan.
  22. They just had a sale a while back (went and bought it myself), but they rarely have big discounts. IMO Axiom is worth the price.
