  1. Or maybe just a "de-crapifier" macro, where you just check what you want to keep, and it auto deletes the rest.
  2. I doubt it, since VC9 was just released this year. They still want $299 from me for an upgrade from VC8, which is 50% off the full $599, so I'm waiting... But they may have sales on individual items or FX.
  3. For those with Arturia Pigments, there are 15 presets in there by Andrew Huang.
  4. Well the modern Kontakt libraries are encrypted in the NI format, so they are locked into NI unless the keys are made public. So no moving them around.
  5. Well I didn't intend for this to turn into an inMusic/AIR bashing thread. But the responses have been interesting...
  6. My vote goes to Arturia for being a top tier music software (and hardware) company. There's only a few of them up there, and I'll stick with them!
  7. I honestly don't think inMusic is even trying hard to deliver. Compared to when IKM messes up with a new release, at least they try to fix it and Peter@ IK usually does his best to communicate in both directions.
  8. I'm trying to save up for Zebra Legacy, $99 on November 15th....
  9. Larger GUIs for AIR instruments? (2017) https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6807952 "Will be a Yay, just taken longer than hoped we are moving all the Plugins over to a new platform which is more modern and plays nicely with all sizes of screens." -Software Brand Manager -inMusic Brands

  11. My solution is to just stop buying stuff... 🤣
  12. I have the same controller, and it's a solid keyboard! Pretty much a clone of the AKAI Pro Advance 49, but at a much better price without the AKAI name tag. To clarify, I never said that they make bad products or the instruments don't sound good. So if you can overlook long-term product support you may find a good deal. But IMO, the company is quick to change direction and drop customers and products without so much as an "I'm sorry". It's "just business" I suppose...
  13. I was Kontakt-less for years. Have been well covered by all them other plugins I have. But now I am hooked! 😂
  14. I bought into the full AIR instrument collection 6 years or so ago. Their marketing guy Simon later stated that new larger GUIs were under development, and he was seeking beta testers at one time. Updates that never happened. Then AIR dribbled out a few new instruments at full price, including Loom II without a scalable UI... then a few more... now it looks like inMusic have merged bits of the former AIR instrument tech into their AKAI MPC lineup. The original AIR instruments were a Pro Tools exclusive until inMusic bought them and released them as standard plugins. It seems now they have all but abandoned them, except for picking the bones for useful tech. I also bought into the AKAI VIP system about 5 years ago, including a VIP integrated keyboard controller with color LCD. It offered mouse-free workstation type control over your plugins with front panel LCD controls, including preset multis and FX. Unfortunately VIP 3 only supported VST2, and they never developed it beyond that, and then quietly dropped the VIP lineup from production. So yeah, I'm a bit cynical about inMusic now. 🙄
  15. I was thinking Usynth Drive might be useful for synthwave, but it appears to be a black box as far as content goes. How to locate sounds that might be of interest? I have a large collection of many UJAM products and they are very interesting! I'm not against simplicity, but the UI needs to be less opaque as to what you are getting... Since you brought it up, I also have Air Xpand and Hybrid and they still have a home. They are solid products. But we were promised UI updates for the Air collection years ago by Simon the Air marketing guy, that never happened. Not likely to spend any more on their new products. Although I did pick up Drumsynth 500 for cheap along the way, and that one is interesting...
  16. Maybe, but inMusic is meh. Much better companies out there to give my support and $$$ to! They have let me down one too many times...
  17. I don't want to hack the install. I just wish IK would improve the install process to make the content selectable. Much easier!
  18. I wouldn't even touch them if they were free!
  19. Don't overlook the included bug fixes...
  20. ^^^ Exactly!!! $807 for the 8 new instruments! I'm sure you could find a Komplete Standard crossgrade for much less!
  21. Just buy NI Komplete. You will be much happier, and better supported!
  22. Yep, and if you don't actually send them a real dinosaur pic, anything that they find entertaining may qualify you for a crossgrade. Worth a try, right?
  23. Something I just ran across about Affinity v2 on Windows. It installs as a Microsoft App instead of with a traditional application installer. That may be an issue for some folks. According to the Affinity forum, there have been some problems launching Affinity Photo v2 as an editor from 3rd party raw programs and digital asset managers. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/170529-extremely-disappointed-that-this-installs-as-an-app-and-not-regular-software-program/
  24. Sad but true! There's a lot of stuff in ST4 MAX that I will never use, taking up a HUGE chunk of disk space. I'm referring to the core ST4 MAX factory libraries, not the extra single instrument libraries for ST4. I would pay extra for a way to pick and choose exactly what to install.
  25. Still on sale at JRR for $177.11 with code "Forum" in the cart.
