  1. No hate, just couldn't be bothered to BUY one to test the Cubase Pro demo. Their loss.
  2. Agreed. I think some form of custom "complete my bundle" deal would be MUCH more customer friendly!
  3. It needs to write to the registry to activate the product, correct? I seem to recall encountering a similar challenge a few years ago...
  4. That dongle was the main reason I didn't switch to Cubase when Gibson shut Cakewalk down. Oh well, better late for them than never! Got a good deal on Studio One though...
  5. Their Gallien-Krueger bass amp is cool. Free bundle with Amplion Free... https://shop.audified.com/products/live-guitar-and-bass-bundle-le
  6. Yep I saw that, but I'm left scratching my head on this deal... 🙄 No offense to IK but... The TS 3 MAX Maxgrade for me from Total Studio 2 MAX is still $299 with the discount credit. I already have most of the stuff in TS MAX 3, except for Amplitube 5 MAX, and a few modules that were not included in T-RackS 5 MAX (like the Leslie, Space Delay, and some tape machines), and the ARC System. I guess If I really wanted AT 5 MAX, which is $299 by itself for the upgrade, it might be worth it for TS 3 MAX in order to get the few missing items thrown into the deal. But I am quite satisfied with the AT 4 MAX content in my AT 5 CS. The other odds and ends are not really needed. So no soup for me!
  7. Didn't see the Tracktion RetroMod 106 in Plugin Collective, but found the redemption code buried in my Focusrite account under my bundled software activation codes. Had to take that code to Tracktion.com and redeem it, and then it was added to my Tracktion account.

    IK Ampeg SVX2

Observe the patterns...make your wish list... then only buy from that list when on sale. Avoid the impulse purchases!

    IK Ampeg SVX2

$49.99 at IKM site. Guitar Center $99.99.
  10. Many plugins are at 12.7 after the update, even though Waves Central still shows 12.0. Open a plugin and click on the 'W' icon for an about screen. The actual current version info is displayed.

    IK Ampeg SVX2

SVX2 came with my AT4 MAX.
  12. Haven't tried any instruments based on the new struQture audio engine from Qubiq Audio. My guess is that it's a new sample player engine using recycled AIR and Sonivox keyboard samples to create an all-in-one instrument, based on this description at Sonivox: https://sonivoxmi.com/products/details/essential-keyboard-collection Hopefully it's an improvement because their samples aren't bad, but the old players and UI's left a lot to be desired!
  13. I believe you may have me confused with abacabacaba... ðŸĪŠ
  14. If you have the Labs Unified version, you can layer the hell out of them. The stock Spitfire player can only do one sound at a time, so yep could see why they may sound boring that way. Check out the PluginGuru streaming demo here. He opens playing a cool groove layer.
  15. I only deal with GOG now as far as acquiring games. I have a second PC with the Steam, Origin (EA), and Ubisoft game clients available if I need to connect online to use any games that were acquired elsewhere, such through Humble Bundle or other online deals. But I prefer GOG's methods best going forward, and I have since replaced a few Steam game editions with GOG versions when available and affordable.
  16. Well, it's just that I downloaded ALL of the Spitfire Labs instruments last night so that I could enjoy the new Spitfire Labs Unified. So I just happened to notice... Go grab them if you have Unify! It's a mega free deal from Skippy!
  17. If you click on that first link you posted (to Spitfire Labs), that Pipe Organ freebie is 1st on the list...
  18. Wup it good! 😂
  19. Nope. Labs is linked here... 😉
  20. The Waves CLA-2A is on sale for $39.99 https://www.waves.com/plugins/cla-2a-compressor-limiter#intro-to-the-cla-classic-compressors
  21. Here is a list of great LA-2A compressor plugins. https://theproaudiofiles.com/la-2a-plugins/ Among them is the White 2A by IKM, which some of you may already have in T-RackS. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trwhite2a/
  22. Installed Spitfire Labs and Labs Unified last night. Very cool!
  23. Ironically for me it wasn't the FireWire driver that gave up on Windows 10. I still have a good PCIe expansion card for FW with TI, but no use for it now. It was the non-existent vendor support for the audio drivers that did me in. The old M-Audio company (formerly Midiman) effectively went out of business the day they were sold by Avid to inMusic Brands in 2012. Their former product line was moved to legacy status.
  24. It's handy for synth and keyboard players. I understand that guitar players already have boatloads of amp sims and pedals. But adding this to your keys is a bit like having fun with stomp boxes. Without having to "borrow" guitar FX gear. Plus they included plenty of FX chain presets to experiment with...
  25. I finally retired my M-Audio Firewire interface. Was using a TI chip in my PC, but the end-of-life M-Audio driver from vintage Win 7 days would throw an occasional BSOD in Win 10. No problems at all using USB2 Focusrite now.
