  1. Just to be 100% clear, Forever 29 allows you to buy this for $1 if you have the coupon? Anyone have one to sell or a $75 or $50 voucher they don't want? I've just bought a 4 mic 3D array, so this would be interesting.

    Eventide sale

  3. Izotope seemingly have no way of validating if you are eligible for upgrades, so it leaves them very open to abuse. I did actually order the 5.x upgrade in the first week of August so was eligible anyway. But because of the way they bundle the licences, I just sell on what I don't require, which leaves me with a profit and two upgrades plus the two 3D reverbs. A strange way to run a business and maybe one that will dissappear if they integrate with NI more fully. NI don't make mistakes like that.
  4. I bought it for ~$220 last December after someone kindly shared their monthly voucher. I am done with buying PA now as I will still be exploring these in ten years time.
  5. I'm not keen on tanks either, unless they are used for reverb.
  6. With IKM, you have to pay a transfer fee for hardware, so that the new user can access firmware updates, utilities, and seemingly even drivers! Plus the software isn't transferred, even though they will transfer the exact same software if bought by itself. With NI's Maschine for example: The drivers and firmware etc are open to anyone. It's free to transfer the hardware and the Maschine software is automatically transferred with it. This is also stand-alone software in the way that IKMs is. So with IKM you pay and get less, whilst with NI it's free and you get more.
  7. I am aware of IKM. Just pointing out that there’s nothing dubious with how NI handle Maschine IMO.
  8. Yeah, but they want to upsell you a virtual dust cloth for twenty bucks.
  9. The drivers for NI hardware are freely available. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other-files/ The Maschine software is licensed and can be transferred for free by the registered owner. They also sell the software by itself and the same goes for that. No drama unless you are ignorant about how software licensing works.
  10. * The shopping cart must contain at least one more product from € 1,00!
  11. I have an NFR too: MSpectralDelay (NFR) 31 May 2018
  12. A great price for an impulse buy. I still checked the walkthroughs and decided there should be enough there to get value from it. Having different engines for the strumming compared to what I already have, as well as new samples, made it an easy buy. I wasn't going to go in on The OTS group buy, so a budget option.
  13. Yes. Buy from Melda and get 70% of the price you paid. Buy third party and get 35% of the full price.
  14. I have Cubase LE 12 that came bundled with Zoom hardware. The upgrade to Cubase Elements 12 is £25. So if I purchase now and hold back registering until version 13 is released, are they still offering a free grace period update?
  15. You can filter to see which are Native and currently it seems to be much less than half of them.
  16. The creative FX bundle offers a lot for the price. The Complete bundle is a vast resource, a bit overwhelming really! If you like the aesthetic, these are excellent value.
  17. Plus extra discount in the basket with code FORUM. https://www.jrrshop.com/meldaproduction?dir=desc&order=special_from_date E.g. 18. Ah, I just have Animation Station which was only $17.50. Good to be reminded so I have installed it. 👍
  19. I think I bought this during the glitch and must get round to installing it!
  20. That looks like James Dewar who was his regular bassist/singer through most of the 70s. Ah, I had forgotten that Dewar was vocals only by the late 70s.
  21. Damn, no Max Headroom included, I'm out.
  22. But if you travel in hyperspace for long enough, when you return, due to time dilation, the inflation will push the price up a lot.
  23. That’s an advantage as you will buy less in the future. 😀 But great point as you need to weigh up the pros and cons.
