  1. You probably already know this and just forgot to type an 'x', but these are for (the new) Massive X, rather than (the older) Massive Edit: oops... didn't read the offer fully; thought it was just for the expansions
  2. Looks like a good deal. If you like the sound of glass marimbas, be sure to have a look at the (free) 8Dio one as well https://8dio.com/instrument/the-new-glass-marimba/ (Both require full Kontakt)
  3. Do the AmpleSound basses support Guitar MIDI? Their guitars do (or at least the ones I've used), meaning that MIDI channel 1 corresponds to string 1, channel2 to string 2, etc. This means that fretting position could be maintained in another instrument, if it supported guitar MIDI as well.
  4. Is Triad a bigger version of Byome? From looking at the PA website, it seems like Triad is Byome, but with capability to use up to three user-defined bands. Just wondering why someone would need the Byome&Triad bundle that Eusebio mentioned; or did I miss something?

    NI Ignition Code

When I first saw the title, I thought it was a voucher for something called Ignition 😀
  6. It might not be apparent. Steam (admittedly a different industry) don't charge people when they want to download a game they bought years ago, and some games are equally as big as sound libraries diskspace-wise.
  7. Because sometimes people start in one genre, and then over time decide to try something new. I started off doing stuff loosely defined within the rock genre; I've recently been trying more orchestral stuff. Some people stay in the same genre; and that's fine too. TSM is a large, wide-encompassing suite. I'm just mentioning the (generous) download time limit, so people know upfront.
  8. Do you mean the IQ-Series Reverb, or the HOFA SYSTEM AlgoVerb?
  9. Also available at Best Service for £44.00 https://www.bestservice.com/flying_hand_percussion_v1_5.html Looks interesting. Anyone used this?
  10. I think you already mentioned this Reid; I'm just reiterating for anyone who might have missed it: You don't have to download anything that you don't think you need, but downloads for instrument sounds time out after a few days, and you'll have to pay to reactivate the download links (for sounds).
  11. I've had CinePerc for a while now and haven't found any issues, though it's a big library and I don't think I've explored absolutely all of it. If you want to hear what the MGM Scoring Stage sounds like with other instruments, the brass in this is from CineBrass.
  12. I picked this up as well as XenoVerb to build up my special-fx plugins. Was also considering Audiority Polaris while it's still on sale.
  13. Anyone ever bought from Cymatics before? Some of their deals look good, but not sure if it's too good...
  14. Just like their post-Christmas sale. It makes perfect sense if you think about it: I mean... everyone's spent their plugin budget during the sale that everyone else had, so to have an after-sale sale means that... oh wait... 🤪
  15. One thing I forgot to mention about the 502: the mouse wheel can tilt left/right, which is great where application support is available. However, the wheel itself has a smooth finish (rather than rubbery). It's got notches in it, so you get grip from that, but for the first few days my finger was sliding over the wheel (rather than turning it) until I got used to it.
  16. I've got a 502 and like it; I use it for gaming, DAW work, and occasional photo editing. If your budget stretches far enough, don't discount a graphics tablet either. It takes a bit to get used to, but could be more comfortable to use depending on what you're doing. Brian, can the Logitech wireless mice be used wired as well (e.g. with a USB cable), or are they strictly wireless? Wireless is cool, but I don't want to have to buy batteries; for a mouse that I use at my desk, I can live with that compromise.
  17. Never tried one of these, and they're not cheap, but if you want a programmable mouse, check out this one: https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mice/MMO-Role-Play-Mice/SCIMITAR-RGB-ELITE-Optical-MOBA-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/p/CH-9304211-EU
  18. https://www.ft.com/coronavirus-latest There's a map of the US states near the bottom. Total deaths as of 7:06pm Apr 8 BST, New Jersey: 1,504
  19. For a moment I thought you meant one of these
  20. The new (Chromium based) Edge is actually quite good
  21. I've got these and quite like them
  22. Also don't forget that Cinesamples do other sales throughout the year, so you can pick up the Pro packages (i.e. expansion packs) to get even more articulations, etc.
  23. If you like orchestral percussion, CinePerc is very comprehensive; and CineBrass also sounds really good.
