  1. What I mean is listening to the audio, and manually interpreting what notes were played.
  2. ...holy shit, I need to get in on this!
  3. I personally would suggest just using your ears for this task and manually tweaking note start times, durations and pitches.
  4. I believe I have sent a support ticket with the problematic project file and a link to the 2 GB dump file.
  5. XPand! 2 Is great, but I also use Roland SCVA for my bread and butter sounds. I consider it to be a great upgrade to TTS-1 and is compatible with most of the MIDIs I had previously written out of the box with little extra routing/setup/editing.
  6. Oh nice, I guess that's something I might save up for in the future.
  7. Being able to see the Temp and Time Signature automation inline within the sequencer view would be great. Amazing even.
  8. You should sign up to the Waves newsletter for any deals they have going if you're looking for pro-effects plugins, they even have a small catalog of decent VSTis. Those plugins often go on sale for a deep discount.
  9. Try selecting the clip you want to edit and bouncing to clip. This SHOULD force a re-render of the clip, and unlink it.
  10. Title theme for a game me and my adoptive sister Alice are working on, this time arranged with the Palette Orchestral Sketchpad.
  11. This is a neat little VST, the lack of sounds isn't that big of a deal when you consider that the sounds are of high quality, plus there is nothing stopping you from finding the original synth and running it with jBridge.
  12. Done and done, voted with the intensity of a thousand suns.
  13. I wonder how hard it would be to convert the Dimension Pro patches to Kontakt Player format
  14. The Palette Symphonic Sketchpad library is great for a starter library, however, I am looking for ways to expand the library in ways the brush packs couldn't. Namely, I am looking for a fine concert Harpsichord and Celesta. Some world instruments like a Pan Flute/Quena would be great too.
  15. Yes, XPand!2 is a very good investment. I'd been able to find my preferred sounds fairly quickly with it.
  16. Yeah, I do think that the issue is related to having an effects insert loaded in the aux track. I have sent an email to the Cakewalk tech support about it.
  17. Well that did it, apparently it didn't like Scheps Omni Channel being on the Session Drummer 3 patch point track. Deleting it before loading up Dimension Pro did the trick, and loading Scheps Omni Channel again doesn't seem to cause any conflicts. Now the next question would be why it happened.
  18. I think it's worth it to mention that Roland Sound Canvas VA is a great replacement for TTS-1 with better sounds and the ability to edit the sounds more deeply, and include EFX. It's basically a hybrid of the SC-8820, SC-88 pro, SC-88 and SC-55 and with some sound design, mixing and mastering in an FX chain you can get some good results. Example:
  19. Kontakt has a very deep internal bussing and FX-chaining system that can let you do a lot of creative things to your samples, even better since you can script your own user interfaces for the instruments you create.
  20. Martinic Kee Bass is an emulation of a rare vintage bass synthesizer being offered for free : https://www.martinic.com/en/products/kee-bass FananTeam is also currently offering Monica and Stringya for free. The former is a monophonic dual-layered wavetable synth, and the latter is a 4-piece synth strings ensemble.
  21. Try to reproduce the crash, test to see if if it happens with a blank project file. If it does, then make a dump file when the program freezes and include it, along with your project file/folder over to the Cakewalk staff to take a look at it.
