I jumped at the lifetime for 499 but the annual sub was still 199. I think the smart move would be taking the $99 sub for a year, or maybe even monthly at $10. I really like their engine what they have now, but you never know about their ability to meet future projected updates/libraries. If they release all they have promised so far by the end of the year I will be very happy.

Yep. I got a promo email from them and couldn't find a price. Now I know why. Faderport 16 is only $100 more.

The K7 feature that I really appreciate so-far is being able to see my non-player Instruments (with patches) in the same browser as the Player stuff. What has me stymied is installing Ozone 10. It just errors out (see below) on Windows. Not a big deal, as I have 9 and rarely use it anyway.

[FIXED] Native Access 3.4.0 Can't Change Preferences (Not A Deal)
Brian Lawler replied to Bapu's topic in Deals
It worked for me. I had to do a major shuffle to make room for all the new content. I just changed it once though, and plan to move some to another drive later. I have not tried multiple changes between individual installs though. -
50% off Image Line Vocodex and Gross Beat, now $39.50 each:
Brian Lawler replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Just a heads up- Pretty sure these are FLStudio only plugs (not VST) . Imageline dropped VST support a while back. See next post! -
Audiomodern also just released a free update to Chordjam 1.5 I don't see it on their site yet, but they sent out an email overnight. Adds MPE, chord "glide" and I think some presets. I've not had time to look at it yet.

Good point about the future update prices... but... Arkhis and Lores. I love fumbling around with my untalented fingers and hearing awesome stuff come out.

Every SOS sale I have to decide whether to stay with Ultimate or go to CE. In case anyone else looks for the comparison on the NI website in a small window, below is the link (it will be under "more" unless your browser is wide). Gotta decide again if it is worth the extra $100. If I didn't already have a ton of orchestral stuff it would be an easy decision. Compare bundles: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-14-ultimate/compare/

I took a quick look in 4.4 manual and it ain't there either. Guess maybe it is not a good manual. No manual yet for v5.

500+ page PDF User Guide is under HELP / Documentation when you click the top center Bitwig icon.

I think that may be changed. I own Amber 1 and have Amber 2 demo installed and they both still work.

Loyalty price at Best Service is $44.38 + 1.47 Bestcoin. https://www.bestservice.com/en/virtual_guitarist_amber_2_update.html

Thanks @Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann We did look Magzter and others over pretty closely. One of the differing factors (at least at the time) was the five accounts included. Three of us are using it, so we are each able to just see the stuff we are interested in, get pinged for new issues, etc.

Thanks! I see I needed an update to RC-20 as well. I wish they would post change-logs.

I was happy with Zinio for the few years I had it, then my wife expressed interest in getting some crafting magazines on line. We have had a subscription to Readly for about a year, and she is very happy with it. They have 7000 titles and 500K back issues for five family members (individual settings) for $10/month. Maybe not a deal worthy of this forum, but since my wife thinks it is worthwhile for her, I get way more music mags than I can handle for "free" Some of the titles: Electronic Musician, Future Music, Sound & Recording, Guitar World, Billboard, Electronic Sound, Interface, Rolling Stone, Beat, Keys & Recording, Total Guitar, Guitar Player, Pianist, etc.... Catch- The titles are usually European versions (often no different that US), but you may not find mags that are only published in the US. Other way 'round for EU market? IDK. App works great on a tablet.

Must be prepping for something new (or updated).

Focusrite - Massive 50% off Ableton Live 11 Suite
Brian Lawler replied to Niky Serrano's topic in Deals
Maybe could buy it for yourself and transfer it. Ableton does not charge for transfers. I bought Suite 11 last year on KVR and sold it after a few months on Knobcloud because I didn't care for it. Might want to check with Ableton support to be sure if you go that route. -
https://www.sideshowfx.net/products DAWs supported: Ableton, Bitwig, Cakewalk, Cubase, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Reaper, Studio One Sale ends May 22 Just add the packs you want to your cart, then at checkout enter the word SPRING in the discount box and get an instant discount of 30%!

Reason Studios Releases Objekt Synth $79 Intro
Brian Lawler replied to Brian Lawler's topic in Deals
While I agree that Reason Studios needs to allow (at least some) content to live on the drive of the users choice, I want to point out that Reason throws all their instruments and samples used by their RE's in the same bucket. So it's hard to separate the instrument vs sample space used. We can only hope that fixing that is somewhere on their to-do list. -
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Reiterating, in case some other dummy tries to just choose "update" from the Opus menu- All that does is try to update the samples, which will lock it up.

HorNET Flash sale ? Just for three days up to 70% off
Brian Lawler replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Hornet has a lot of "Autogain" variants, but the one I always use for dead simple gain-staging doesn't mention gain in the title. VU Meter Mk IV is under $3 sale price and it can be assigned to groups or activated across all tracks with a click to trim channel level peaks to your desired setting.
