  1. Enlightspeed makes some interesting MIDI manglers. $49 for the complete bundle (Loopcracker Suite).
  2. So it is only in version 10, which has only been out for two weeks. They look sharp and clear to me- everything scales; text and graphics. I think in an overview YT the guy mentioned that they had to re-work a lot of graphic elements. I prefer 100% so I have not used it at different scales for extended time.
  3. I'm feeling generous. Paid the 1.40 for the upgrade. I could have held out for the 80% off and saved another .60 Note that he updated his installer a couple weeks ago. Now you can list just the plugs you own.
  4. Beats me. Here is a screen grab from mine. Tried and it works. Set it to 50% and almost had to feel my way back to 100. ?
  5. If that is in the manual it is not accurate. The scaling choices range from 50-200%.
  6. Being old, I already run my Windoze at 125% scaling on the Hi-DPI, but I have a few Kontakt Instruments (Triaz comes to mind) that really pack the window. This will be very handy. Thanks for the info @Craig N I couldn't find the setting either
  7. v10 Manual PDF is now up https://acoustica.com/pdf/Mixcraft%2010%20User%20Guide.pdf
  8. I couldn't get the 7.4 Kontakt update to show. I was on 7.2 I think. Turns out I had to install a new version of Native Access, which revealed four other updates that weren't there before. You would think it would know if itself needed to be updated? Maybe this will fix the slow load issues.... Not hopeful based on how slow the installer is. <edit> It is somewhat faster loading now. 14 seconds (Windows 10). After a reboot and disabling Microsoft AV and Malwarebytes the load time was 9 seconds, so there is about 30% of the load time attributable to the safeguards. K6 is still nearly instant with all the protections on though.
  9. NO, it is not your machine. Others have posted about the loooong load times for Kontak7, but not nearly as many as I would have expected, so there are at least some of us. Kontakt 7 (empty) takes at least 25 seconds to load for me, regardless of DAW. Kontakt 6 loads in less than 2 seconds. Subsequent loads of 7 after the first one are fast, so it must have something to do with the file parsing that doesn't happen from cache. I followed some suggested changes like clearing out some XML files and excepting Kontakt folders from AV scans, but no improvement.
  10. Damn you are fast Larry ? I just found the update when I booted up Mixcraft and was gonna post. It wasn't there a couple hours ago. I reported three of the bugs on that long list. Good to see that they are working hard on them. I had back and forth with their support on Friday night and Saturday and was told they already had the fixes on the way. Here is the fix list: https://acoustica.com/products/mixcraft/version-history
  11. If you only have a handful of Melda and you are getting, the $7 or whatever low-ball Complete offer, then it is a glitch and you should take a shot. While I got a nice discount, I don't think my offer was a glitch. These are the same guys (at the top) who ran the big UVI bundles for FL-Studio users recently. Regarding the hit refresh for price updates, that is definitely "a thing" I have seen. I think Melda is priced in Euros, and if you see changes in Yankee $ prices it is because they are adjusting to their currency conversion rates.
  12. Wow. Mcomplete for $178. Last time I looked during a bundle sale it was @ $640, and that has been the lowest I ever saw it. Impulse buy by definition. Wonder if I will ever use the new stuff I got. I have been wanting the Spectral Dynamics. I already owned CreativeFX, Drummer, SoundFactory, plus a few.
  13. Not that is really matters, since my codes registered fine in Pulse, but they don't show in my account. Only thing there is a cheapie and a freebie I got back in 2017. Definitely same email. Meh. Free is free. Thanks @laglag and ISW!
  14. I just remembered that Strezov Choir Essentials has children. It is Kontact Player (free works). There are altos and soprano children in sections singing 5 select-able phonemes syllables with three mic positions. No solos. Of course there are men and women too. It's good enough for what little I do with choirs. I got it for under $100 on a past sale. I see the regular price is 149 Euros. Run that through some FX and you'll have the dead scratching at your studio door in no time.
  15. Satanic is right. Singing children give me the creeps. 8dio has Liberis that has been $40 recently and I am sure will be again. Probably around Halloween.
  16. Nice one for Falcon or free UVI Workstation if you haven't grabbed it in the past.
  17. Below is a "Feature Length" Zoom Q&A session from the folks behind Musio.
  18. I might finally give in for a bundle of Fab. What's the cheapest approach- direct from Fab or a retailer? I am going to check out used too, but I don't know if they do bundles. Transfer fee per item would be rather a hit I would think.
  19. Indeed timely. My update plan expires in two days.
  20. Starting today, Bitwig Circle members get the wonderfully creative EQ plug-in Morph EQ for free (worth 49 USD/EUR). Morph EQ is more than a standard equalizer — it's an expressive audio effect that opens up new possibilities for sound design and music creation. If you own a Bitwig Studio license with an active Upgrade Plan, your free serial code is waiting for you in your Bitwig user account: This limited offer is active June 15, 2023, until June 15, 2024.
  21. I have, I think four SampleLogic libraries and they are all great. One of them is Modern Animated Percussion (MAP). I really like it, but this looks a lot like MAP with different samples. They even borrow some of the same phrases from the promo copy for MAP. I will definately be waiting for the future sales or a break for MAP owners to consider this one.
  22. Nah- they are not nearly that level. Although I don't own any Wuzik, I've read the "reviews". RA has great stuff at the $5 price point, and they do not pester you at all. <edit> Specifically I think RA does some talented Kontakt scripting. The percussion stuff like Sodium and Groundshaker have nice samples and usable pattern editors. I don't have the full set, and I have tossed a few off my hard drive, but I think I got my money's worth overall.
  23. Maybe someone has them both and can comment. I only have AcousticSamples and it sounds good. Note that it runs in Falcon or the free UVI Workstation rather than Kontakt. It looks to me like SoundProps has a lot more articulations.
  24. Also released for Soundpaint for the same price ($50).... and it says it is only 1.89 Gig- on Soundpaint? Shocking! https://soundpaint.com/products/hybrid-voices-designs
  25. Me too, but I only ordered about four hours ago ?
