  1. @Mesh just a quick check (right click/properties on the Mosaic Voices folder) shows : So if the size or number of files/folder is different then that does point to an installation problem.
  2. It does sound like your AV messed with your installation Mesh, so definitely worth trying a re-install.
  3. Not at all, it's Bach who should feel insulted I just directed some of his chords through ReMIDI and dropped a drum loop onto another track (with some suitable mangling courtesy of Tantra) and Bob's yer uncle! You do need to play it back on "11" though to get the real meaning of the song.
  4. Cheers Mesh! Is this on Mosaic Voices and does this happen in K6 Player Standalone or in a DAW or both? The red flashing purge icon I think shows that there are missing samples. I could post a list of the samples folder on my system to compare with yours? Alternatively you could also wait for Mat Sorrels to reply as he seems to know a lot about all things NI (and most other stuff for that matter and has been very helpful in solving my NI issues before
  5. Lol! That's a classic Just wish I could come up with titles like that.
  6. Ok you asked for it....a song in development using ReMIDI to create Bass (MODO), e-piano (Velvet) and melody (Mosaic Voices) entitled Bach B4 U Know It... https://soundclick.com/r/s8bq8i
  7. First impressions - Epic! Some really inspiring presets in there. Not quite sure what the various key colour regions represent on some of the presets (might have to read the manual ?) I like how the "voices" are mixed with other ethereal sounds and the movement due to that central circular thingy. The preset organisation is also sensible with: Hybrids made up of Playables, Rhythyms and Arps Organic made up of Playable Vowels, Rhythms and Ramps and Swells The pure vocal presets sound great with single and stacked vowels and blends that operate with the mod wheel. It also seems pretty easy to modify the presets with each one made up of up to three channels of sub-presets from a list of four categories (Clone Voices, Human Voices, Hybrid Voices and Synth Beds). I noticed a few "granular" patches in there. Well worth the money I say!
  8. Too true! I like that they also made a separate melody instrument with a range from drop C to high G#.
  9. Downloading s-l-o-w-l-y now!
  10. Cheers Simon! I might as well nab those Massive expansions too ? I also picked up ReMIDI last week (don't blame me if all my compositions from now on sound like JS Bach knock-offs). I also got Picked Acoustic at Christmas which is fantastic and went for their Electric Sunburst at half price. It sounds great and of course has the familiar NI guitar engine. At least Larry doesn't get all the blame any more
  11. Thanks Larry. I updated via BLA which worked fine for the first time in a while (i.e. no manual update required). The feedback thread is here-->
  12. I updated via BLA from 2019.12 and the process worked correctly for the first time in a while for me although BLA just exited without any prompts after doing the update (maybe that's what it's supposed to do?). CbB seems to run fine and I like the "mouse hover" performance functionality. This allowed me to look back at some "heavy" projects, identify any late buffers and tweak the buffer settings to achieve zero late buffers. I also appreciate the instrument Track Per Output option which worked as expected when I tested with TTS-1, Sampletank 4 and Kontakt 6. Thanks also for the bug fixes! Cheers for the update ? EDIT: My keyboard shortcuts still work fine.
  13. One thing I'm liking in Harvest is that you can lock existing notes and then add new random notes to the pattern that co-exist on the same steps as the locked pattern to create chords. That would be a useful addition to Riffer although I guess you could achieve the same with multiple instances of Riffer. I haven't had any issues with Harvest as yet. You might also like ChordPotion which is a step up from both Riffer and Harvest (actually a slightly different beast). I also picked up ReMIDI which is an interesting concept and worth a look.
  14. Cheers Mesh, just the nudge I needed
  15. Glad to help. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
  16. I'm tempted by Mosaic Voices or Vocalise 2. Does anyone have either of these and care to comment? I have the first Vocalise so I am guessing Vocalise 2 is more of the same but wasn't aware of Mosaic Voices until now. EDIT: Found this YouTube video covering Mosaic Voices and Mosaic Keys. Seems pretty nice at half price.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmSMflL_Qs8
  17. Same here! In fact they regularly send me emails with updates for the Ultimate Bundle which I bought really cheaply over a year ago.
  18. That's a great sound David. I spent a while making this cover using OTS Evolution Songwriter mixed with the Pettinghouse Acoustic Guitar 2. I am a guitarist though not great at finger picking and had limited time so decided to go the virtual guitar route. https://soundclick.com/r/s8bpj0

A standard guitar cable is a mono (TS) connector and is 6.35mm whereas the iPad heaphone jack is stereo (TRS) and 3.5 mm so you would need a splitter/adapter cable to connect the stereo iPad headphone output to the Focusrite inputs. Something like this.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XNSN85B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_ieymEbFC5W552 It might be worth comparing the quality of the iPad headphone out with the headphone out of your iRig Pro I/O as that might be better quality. Using the headphone output is of course in the analogue domain so it would depend on the quality of the DACs being used in the iPad vs IRig. That's one reason why I was trying to use Studiomux which allows the audio to be passed over USB while still in the digital domain. You could always give it a try if you are feeling adventurous! You need to install the server on your PC and the app on the iPad. https://zerodebug.com/studiomux By the way, on a different subject did you know that you might be able to use your Focusrite directly on the iPad ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaARidUY2yU

The closest thing is probably X Drummer from Positive Grid but also check out all of the Luis Martinez drum apps (Lumbeat) as they are brilliant e.g. Rock Drum Machine, Future Drummer, Soft Drummer etc.
  21. Wow! That is very impressive and easy to use. I have used Alter/Ego (Plogue) before but this is miles ahead in terms of realism. Do you know if they ever have sales on the full version?
  22. Hey Mesh, From memory I think the issue is that if you just drop it on a vocal track as an effect then you won't hear anything unless you firstly enable MIDI input on it and then set up a separate MIDI track and either play MIDI in via the keyboard or use existing MIDI notes with the output of that track routed to Vocalizer Pro. It never actually crashed for me unlike their Big Bang Percussion (for which there was a workaround). Compare that to Morphoder/Ovox where you drop it on a track and it defaults to using an internal carrier source so gives an immediate vocoder sound or whatever preset you have selected. You can still route MIDI to it for more note control etc.
