  1. If freeze is disabled it could mean the track is a MIDI track with no associated audio track. Freeze, an audio function, works with audio+MIDI track pairs, audio and instrument tracks.
  2. http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.06.html
  3. Exported clip names use any of the parameters just like tracks.
  4. The default location for the plug-ins are folders in "C:\Program Files\Calewalk\Vstplugins" NOT AppData If the plug-ins were installed, they may not have scanned correctly. Try a VST reset from Preferences > File > VST Settings.
  5. If the option in disabled in BandLab Assistant it means the installer was already run once. BA keeps track of what it installs with registry entries. Rather than mess with the registry and BA, use the new Cakewalk Web Installer to re-run the SI installer.
  6. Maybe there is some bad data in the clips and "Do not intercept NRPNs" was enabled in Session Drummer. The Studio Instruments have the same issue with unexpected MIDI data.
  7. That's fine, you asked about Session Drummer so I thought to remind you about the recommendation from BandLab regarding how to take advantage of the content bundled with old Cakewalk products.
  8. BandLab does not offer Session Drummer. If you had Session Drummer it came with a Cakewalk product. For X3 and older run the advanced install for 64bit SONAR and select the plug-ins to install. For best results with 64bit SONAR Professional/Platinum uninstall CbB then perform a complete install using the Cakewalk Command Center then re-install CbB.
  9. My automatic background scans take no time at all. Never have. All ~1300 plug-ins are on the system SSD. The last reset took around 14 minutes. Are there many plug-ins that run in a shell like Waves? May want to run a generate scan log and review the settings at the top of the log.
  10. Is input echo enabled? It is the button to the right of record on the track. AASIO4All is unnecessary. On Win10, try the WASAPI driver modes instead.

    Where is Sysex view?

This is what the menu looks like when using the Basic workspace
  12. Time+ in the MIDI track inspector. The lower control pointed to by "Q"

    Where is Sysex view?

When documented features appear to be missing, the first thing to check is the Workspace setting. Either change the setting to a workspace that has the view, create a new workspace or set it to None.
  14. It is up to iZotope to develop the plug-in. If an ARA version of the editor is developed for Windows, CbB will load it like all the other Windows ARA plug-ins.
  15. It all works as documented The hot spot to open a plug-in UI is anywhere between the power button on the left and the drop down menu on the right
  16. I cannot replicate the problem in either the current production 2021.09 build 145 or Early Access 2021.11 Early build 8 on Win10 Pro 21H1 build 19043.1320. CTRL+open UI, pinning UI and the preference setting all work.
  17. ASIO4All is not recommended for use with CbB. ASIO4All should never be installed when factory ASIO drivers are available; it has been known to interfere with real ASIO drivers.
  18. The instruments bundled with CbB are TTS-1 and the Studio Instrument Suite. The Studio Instrument Suite does not automatically get installed. It is one of the installers found in on the "Install Add-ons..." menu in BA. The add-on installers are also listed in on the third page of the new Cakewalk Web Installer.
  19. Looks like all the Newfangled Audio plug-ins were updated recently too.
  20. Check for audio "enhancement" settings in the playback program preferences or Windows.
