  1. Here's a piece that's nearly finished. Just got to revise a few articulations This is from a much longer 2CD project which is prog orientated but wit h a couple of orchestral pieces thrown in for good measure This number is meant to invoke a feeling of war Let me know what you think Only instruments used are EWQLSO Platinum, No other Fx at all
  2. That's really helpful ?‍♂️
  3. Well the one thing you cannot do in Cakewalk is to simply "skip" over one section only to resume playback/recording at a later time The only way around this that I can think of would be to use the arranger so that the bits you want to record vocals over are right next to each other and then move them back afterwards
  4. Quick question - are these plugins 32 bit or 64 bit? Thanks
  5. Pretty sure you can't do that Best place to audition a note is in the PRV (Piano Roll View)
  6. Which input are you plugging into on the Focusrite? What happens if you go straight into the Focusrite?
  7. Ah, which lines are we talking about? At the top or in the body of the clip If it's the clip I agree, clip automation But you do have punch points enabled as well which might interfere with your recordings
  8. Tedious Yeah, before we had the luxury of Articulation Maps, I used drum map for mapping articulations for EWQLSO Platinum Orchestra From memory, I had to set up 34 different maps, all manually.
  9. You can set one up yourself under Keyboard Shortcuts
  10. VV was originally included with Sonar 5 I believe - I certainly used it in S6 If you want to use it you need to do a minimum install of the Sonar .exe It's not a regular plugin like a vst, it's part of the core program
  11. I think you'll need to adjust the Base Octave in Preferences > Display
  12. I would add that it is always better to use volume cuts, rather than increases.
  13. "I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding right now"
  14. Delete the Neutron Do a save as with a new name to a new location. Make sure "copy audio with project is checked" Now see if the project plays ok If it does, you'll know it was a problem with the Neutron and you can delete the old project
  15. Try this https://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013392/SONAR-2015-Clean-Install-Instructions
  16. Honestly Ed, the difference was night & day for me. But they're not cheap! But the nice thing about these is that if I have a test in the future and my hearing has changed again, their software can produce a new compensation curve and reprogram both aids. Smart stuff
  17. Could be an interesting development I recently had a hearing test, only to discover that the top end has rolled off significantly and I'll be wearing hearing aids from Thursday of this week I'm dreading listening to my mixes and finding that I've over compensated in my mixes and added to much HF The Audiologist let me wear an identical pair to the ones I'm getting (they are fully programmable via Bluetooth) and WOW! What a difference they made. I guess I'll have to also train my wife into not having to repeat everything she says ?and also turn the TV down Anyone else with a similar tale?
  18. That is probably one of the most bizarre posts I've ever read, and it's not from a newbie.
