  1. Preferences > File > Folder Locations Make sure you've got the correct path mapped.
  2. Try importing your export into a blank project. If it sounds ok then your problem is outside of Cakewalk and you need to look at your monitoring setup If it doesn't sound ok then you need to look at your routing and general workflow inside of Cakewalk.
  3. The Control Bar should be visible at the top of the screen. If you can't see it, press C. If it still doesn't show, set your workspaces to None and press C again The dim Solo button is in the Mix Module (highlighted) If you can't see the Mix Module, right click a blank area of the CB. Under modules, put a tick against Mix Module

  5. Could be, I've never used it But if it is, it's posted on the wrong board
  6. 1. That doesn't look like any Cakewalk screen that I've ever seen 2. If it works anything like Cakewalk, you have to select the track(s) before exporting
  7. Select All before exporting (ctrl + a)
  8. I would suggest at least raising your buffers before you go replacing your hard drives
  9. Check your buffer settings
  10. You want aud.ini not audio.ini C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core
  11. Right, we were talking at cross purposes earlier, though not without some justification. When you first said "32 bit", I took it to mean you were running the 32 bit version of Sonar, not that you were recording at 32 bit. That bit (pun not intended) wasn't made clear at all. And as far as I'm aware, the Zoom is the only consumer grade interface that lets you record at 32 bit
  12. Just going back to your original post. Are you 100% sure that the interleave does nothing?
  13. Preferences > Customization > Keyboard Shortcuts Under area, select Track View Under search type clip g
  14. With the project open: 1. Do a "save as" to the new location. Makes sure "copy audio with project" is checked 2. Play the project. If it's ok go to 3 3. Delete the original project. Step 1 will also only copy the audio tracks currently referenced by the project so this is a very convenient way to clean up the project folder
  15. I believe what Glenn meant was, if you search for it on this site you might well end up having access to it. 🙃
  16. Both CbB & the new Sonar are light years ahead of your current DAW There have been umpteen bug fixes and new features added, though this isn't the case with plugins CbB is currently free and will be for the foreseeable future Sonar is a paid product which currently is only available via a Bandlab Subscription. There might be other purchasing options further down the line but nobody knows when or how much. If you decide to upgrade to either platform, do NOT uninstall any existing installation as you'll lose your bundled plugins.
  17. I told him this earlier in the thread but he chooses to ignore it
  18. You've got SI Bass Guitar in the FX bin You need to insert it as a soft synth Delete Track 1 and start again
  19. If you have a reasonably well spec'ed interface it will come with its own ASIO driver. I don't think any of us have had to hunt for Windows ASIO drivers
  20. ASIO is not the same as ASIO4ALL I would ALWAYS recommend using ASIO over the piece of junk known as ASIO4ALL as it's not ASIO - it's just a wrapper to fool Windows into thinking it is a fully compliant ASIO driver. It isn't. And that's why the warning pops up in Cakewalk/Sonar.
