  1. The Folder issue I reported seems to be working again now thank you
  2. Isn't this what Busses are for ? I just keep the busses visible in the Console on my 2nd monitor and I use the controls in the track view for adjusting individual tracks
  3. In Track View Select Track - Go to the Tracks menu at the top - Selected Track Outputs - Then you can assign them all to a Buss or wherever
  4. The original bug with the Catastophic Error on Export by Arranger selection has been quashed thank you. Unfortunately this update has introduced a new bug I have not seen before. I now cannot see the contents of any Folder Tracks whilst minimised except for the folder that is at the bottom of the track view. I have loaded up some older projects and they display the same behaviour. All the content is still there when expanded and it plays & exports normally. Cakewalk Folder Issue.webm
  5. I agree - have done it myself a few times The whole browsing of samples needs a rethink IMHO...it can be so slow to search for something when you have GBs of samples
  6. More likely a Windows issue than a CBB one https://lifehacker.com/resize-your-windows-apps-to-any-dimensions-you-want-wit-1828124695
  7. Don't close it Minimise it using " D " shortcut key...then when you press D again to maximise it will be the same as before
  8. ADSR sample Manager ( Free ) https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/adsr-sample-manager/
  9. I have 2 monitors as well with the main CBB track view on my left and the Multidock on the right Have you tried using the " D" key to instantly minimise & restore the Multidock ? This will work as long as you have CBB in focus. My screen record only shows one screen but this is my right hand screen as I read the forum and then restore the undocked console view. screen-capture.webm
  10. Something like an oscilloscope ( which I personally have NEVER used in 30 years of making music on computers ) is vastly different to something like an integral sampler. A built in sampler with a good workflow is a core part of the music making process for many musicians especially in Pop - EDM & Hip Hop which are some of the most popular genres . An oscilloscope is a diagnostic tool used by a small minority and much more suited to being a 3rd party plugin for those that want to use one. Sonar / Cakewalk went from being one of the most popular DAWs around to being an also ran partly because those making Hip Hop, EDM etc found it easier on other platforms like FL Studio etc. because of the built in sampling capabilities. Not because of a lack of any diagnostic tolls.
  11. Is this close to what you want ? ( but without the need for a dedicated Streamdeck shortcut )
  12. As mentioned in the thread I have sped it up myself by binding the Bounce To Track Command to CTRL-B and then assigning a macro on my Streamdeck to also hit the enter key just afterwards so it seems like one action. It's pretty quick and one key press. screen-capture.webm
  13. I would use it to :- A - Map out the harmonic structure of the track B - Test out variations of this harmonic structure . i.e. swapping / replacing chords , different inversions etc. C - Make sure all my parts harmonize with the chords chosen and remap anything that doesn't D - As a visual aid to the chords if I need to record a new part E - To easily transpose parts globally i.e. if a track turns out to be in the wrong key for a singer I've not used a DAW with a chord track but I do have Captain Chords and EZkeys so some of the workflow / features would be similar but more integrated.
  14. Do you mean deCoda is developed by Zplane ? It's a very good tool. I think they have a solid foundation for this already with Melodyne and ARA 2 so there is no need to re-invent the wheel here.
  15. The dialogue box is for what's included in the audio bounce. I don't mean copy the FX that are in the source track's FX Bin over. Do you want it to apply the source's original FX to the newly bounced audio ? Or do you want the raw audio without any FX on ? Personally I would want them on ..others may differ then you're back to the 3 clicks and it's no quicker than it is now. Except maybe a bit easier to find. I think binding what we have to a keystroke is pretty close. A macro or script shortcut is virtually there or thereabouts.
  16. So what you are saying is you desire exactly the same end result that you can get with ' Bounce To Track(s) ' but with some of the steps removed ? So instead of it being under the Tracks menu at the top of the Track View you want it on the right click menu , and instead of the Dialogue Box that pops up with the Source / Destination and the various Bounce Options you want it to skip that part and automatically use the current selection - leaving everything enabled ( FX - Automation etc ) and create a new Audio Track below the current one with the new Wav / Clip ? If I am understanding you correctly you're turning a 3 mouse click process into a 2 click process but losing the option to customise the bounce. I agree the current right click menu should include Bounce To Track, it's more intuitive for it to be next to Bounce To Clip than tucked away at the top. Maybe it would be better to ask for configurable menus and macros then this type of thing could be easily done You can bind Bounce To Track to a keystroke - I've just bound mine to CTRL+B, so if I hit that and press enter it's pretty quick I can go one better and bind the whole thing to a single key on my Stream Deck
  17. I would like to be able to drag and drop any midi track I have created into the chord track. Similar to how EZkeys works if you drop a midi part into it
  18. Cheers Will but I don't think that's what the OP meant. Personally I want all files to remain within the respective Project folder , it's much easier for me to keep everything together that way. i.e all Project audio, CWP files, rough mixes and Final Deliverables are all in one umbrella Folder.
  19. 1. It should be in the visual style of the Arranger Track as mentioned above 2. Midi Input Menu should have " Chord Track follow" or " Force to Scale " as options 3. ARA-2 Melodyne Tracks should have the option to follow chord track
  20. I thought it was more about the transport etc that isn't mapped easily to CBB , pretty sure the browser/preview part works
