What are your nudge settings? Sometimes they are so small that you can't see the movement, but clicking several times you will see it. Try this: check a clip's start time in properties. Do the nudge. Check the clip's start time again. Is it different?

I have my keyboard (MX49) set up in my bedroom studio so I can easily start playing/recording without having to set it up. A few months ago, my room mate/landlady acquired a new kitten. It's been a good cat, mostly, but the other day I woke up smelling... something. Rolled out of bed and pulled on my socks, and they were wet, and smelling like... something. Investigating further, I saw liquid dripping from my keyboard to the floor. I had the foam packaging bag that came with the piano covering it, so the keyboard itself didn't get wet, thankfully. So I banished the cat from my room and ordered a soft case from GC so I can safely store the 'board in my closet, knowing that the cat would eventually find its way back into the room. Got the email stating that the package would be delivered the next day (Saturday). I was watching some baseball on TV and heard the distinctive sound of a UPS truck coming down the street. I walked to my studio and watched the guy pull up in front of my across-the-street neighbor's house, get out with a box approximately the size of a 49-key soft case, and drop it off on my neighbor's front porch. Her address is 2225. Mine is 2228. I looked at the label and it was 2228. The guy walked right by the address on the front of her porch in order to place it on her porch and then walked away with a smile on his face. I suppose he could just need glasses, but that would only help if he could actually read. In any case (see what I did there?) everything turned out fine; the Yamaha is protected, the socks have been washed and the cat has been scolded.

Is There A Good Software/Website To Detect Music Plaigiarism?

In an audio track, an audio bus, or a soft synth output track, clicking the output name will bring up the available outputs. Change it to Master or whatever other destination you need. I can see in your image that there is indeed a Master bus. Typically, you would direct all of your audio tracks to busses, i.e. all guitar tracks to a Guitar bus, all vocals to a Vocal bus, etc. Then all busses would be sent to the Master bus which outputs to your main output, your sound card or audio interface. Double-clicking a track or bus name will allow you to name it whatever you want. If your preferred template doesn't have a Master bus, you can Insert a new bus and name it, or rename one of your current busses.

Nice place to work. Where do you take your breaks?

And to start, set the outputs of your synths to whatever the output of the met is. Welcome to the forum.

Not in Cakewalk, it being linear. You would need a specialized notation program for that, I believe. There are several to choose from.

I don't know about speakers but I have a Denon receiver that has Bluetooth. I could theoretically send audio from my phone to it, although I've never tried it.

It's pretty easy. Open the Staff view, click on the Lyrics button at the top. Start below your first note and type in the words. Hitting the Space bar (and I think the Tab key) advances the cursor to the next note. For multi-syllable words advance the cursor between each syllable if the word uses several notes.

Macca says John would have "been all over" autotune

Doesn't mean he would want it for himself. ? -
Welcome to the forum. I assume you have notes in the staff? If it is a recorded performance, remember that Cakewalk records exactly what is played, and since no one has perfect timing, some of your notes will be out of time when referenced to the tempo and note standard note durations, resulting in a messed up display. Under Views, select Trim Durations and see if that cleans things up a little bit.

"Today we are excited to announce the official launch of Gibson Records, headquartered in Music City, Nashville, TN—alongside a strategic label partnership with BMG."
-
I'll have to look again, but I think it read something like "in association with BMG" records.

I swear I took a shower this morning.

In the Staff view, you would just click in the event, no drawing/dragging necessary. Then if you want, you can drag the pedal up event where you want it. I don't work much in PRV other than drum tracks.

I just saw on FB that Gibson has started its own record label. I wonder if they'll use SONAR?

Put him to work, Shane. He'll forget about that missing bass in no time at all.

scook became Scottish overnight?

Cakewalk has one of those. Or maybe it was from an earlier iteration. Right-click in a MIDI track's FX bin and see if you have it, too.
-
Yeah, but now you have to decide whether you want your voice to sound like a Les Paul or a Stratocaster.

Once you've selected Chords above the Staff, a white area will appear. Clicking in it where you want your chord always starts with 'C'. Right-click the C and that will open the chord library and you can select any chord from it and the 'C' will change to that chord. Drawing the chord on the fretboard will not show you a diagram in the Chords area, but you can find that chord in the library and add it. To keep from having to navigate the library every time you want to add a chord, if the chord is already in your song, clicking on it will select to be drawn in again elsewhere. Otherwise, when you click in the white area it will always add the last chord you selected.
