  1. As long as it works well, keep it up to date. No need to stay in the past. I believe that what Zo and I have provided to IK support about the problem, I am confident it will get fixed sooner than later.
  2. Past Releases Version Release Date Release Info Files 5.1.1 2021-09-16 Changes from previous version: Fixed Pitch Shifter rack version split mode that had a wrong behavior. Now it splits the dry and pitched signal between left and right channels. Updated all Brian May presets containing the Chours CE-1 pedal that had a wrong behavior causing the presets to be too processed. Fixed X-TIME’s Arctic model that had no delayed signal when BPM mode was active. Fixed a possible crash while drag & dropping pedals. 5.1.0 2021-09-09 Changes from version 5.0.3: What’s new New X-GEAR pedals are now available in AmpliTube 5 and purchasable via Custom Shop. Including: X-DRIVE, X-VIBE, X-TIME and X-SPACE. Spillover is now implemented in all reverb and delay effects (the effect’s tail persists when the gear is bypassed). Improvements General reliability improvements.
  3. No, the cpu increase happened from 5.0.3 to 5.1.0.
  4. Well, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it. You are right, doing this routing switch does bring the CPU down. 5.2.0 is still a little more CPU hungry, but not by much. I repeated the same tests I had done 2 days ago for support to clearly show the problem, but this time using this routing switcheroo. Here is a summary of the results. I created tracks in Cakewalk with AT5 on each track at its default preset. I started getting crashes when going over 60 tracks, so kept that as a maximum. 5.0.3 - 60 tracks was using about 67% CPU 5.2.0 - 60 tracks was 100% and actually the PC was not responding very well 5.2.0 - 20 tracks brought the CPU about on par with 60 tracks in 5.0.3 with your manipulation on each instance of AT5 on each track, I was able to get: 5.2.0 - 60 tracks with 78% CPU usage a bit more than 5.0.3 5.2.0 - 51 tracks brought the CPU about on par with 60 tracks in 5.0.3 Of course you have found a way to show the problem, they will have to figure out the bug in their code. ? But I understood what you meant. I have sent my tests report to support through the ticket I had already opened. In it I linked to your post to give you credit for the find.
  5. I get the same if I go through their site and try to download it from there. May be a false positive? The internet is a jungle for user and providers! I can only imagine the stress right now at 8DIO! After a great marketing campaign you get this, ouch!
  6. Probably some other company of sampler that falsely reported it to kill the competition! ?
  7. Geez, I registered, clicked on the download link in the email, and...
  8. I would suggest you downgrade to 5.0.3 to minimize CPU usage first. That may be enough and you may not need to go back to CS. Simply go to your account on the IK site, go to your products, find Amplitube 5, there will be a tab for 'past releases'. Download 5.0.3, install it over your current install and give it a try. The only drawback is that you will not be able to use the X-Gear stuff with 5.0.3.
  9. Is it just me or this SoundPaint engine looks quite cool? I am not a keyboard player, but I must say this environment seems very nice, but I am new to 8DIO and not that knowledgeable in these things. The video they have put out gives a good idea of it's workings and is good marketing. It has been a while that a product of this kind attracted my attention. It seems to be a cool new way to intermingle sounds with its morph feature. They hooked me and I will have to give it a try.
  10. Ya, and one is black the other is brown. Who is he trying to fool! ?
  11. Good, wasn't there when I jumped on it this morning. Yep, just did a refresh and there it is!
  12. What I can concur from all the talk about this, is that if you have an enough capable system it won't bother you. Don't be overlay alarmed by this. In any case, you can revert back so easily that you should not wait and simply upgrade. If ever you have a problem you can easily rollback. All previous version installers are available on IK site. I must say kudos to them for that, very nice! I think my email to them this morning showed clearly what is happening. I will continue to be available and perform any test they need.
  13. Check this thread: Also, I did some test for support this morning and did a write up showing them what is happening on my system. They are reviewing it as we speak write!
  14. Fixed. Peter you were not responding to the correct person.
  15. The new Focusrite Plug-in Collective are out. Not visible yet on their Plug-in Collective page, but if you go to your account you will see them. They are these 2 plug-ins, an analog delay and a tube amp. https://fuseaudiolabs.com/#/pages/product?id=300808669 https://fuseaudiolabs.com/#/pages/product?id=300975099 But be carful, when I tried to get them this morning it wasn't working properly. The instructions state that you must add both plugins to your cart and then redeem de code. The total should be 0$ for both plugin, but however I tried it would only zero one of the plugins not both. I will wait a few days until this get ironed out before getting them.
  16. You seem to know a lot about this stuff... Care to make me a nice big smile so I can take a look in there? ?‍♀️?
  17. On the other hand, maybe we should keep some stuff for next year's group buy!!!!! Naaaaa, bad idea and wrong forum! ?
  18. Yep, thinking to go in again at $50 for the little things and reduce selection stress!
  19. You mean Vlad the Impaler? Not a very nice story... ?
  20. If you are under Windows, you can try ctrl-F5 to clear and refresh the page. It may reset your tries.
  21. The good news for you is that the cpu usage, although high, is relatively constant across versions. This means that you can stick with the latest. One thing that would be nice is to have settings for performance items. For example, have a few CPU hungry features of AT5 having the possibility to be disabled. One example would be disabling VIR. Since the CS version works without it, it wouldn't be that hard to do I am sure. There may be other areas that could be switched off so that it runs smoother, albeit at the cost of some audio fidelity. Just a thought.
  22. 27,748! ? We may wish IK an happy 30th... 5 years in advance!
