  1. Oops will not open in Kontakt 6, Shows up in K7.
  2. So Sono fanboys if you could only own one library which would it be?
  3. Definitely not. I've been there before and it appears different. Hijacked? Even the math is wrong on that product.
  4. Installed - not showing up in Kontakt yet.
  5. Also requires Kontatk 7 player. I prefer the opinions here since not every one is attracted to shiny and new.
  6. Your opinion probably wont change. Some of them need an 88 key controller for the key switches if you don't want to pencil them in. They are similar to using loops except now you can drop the midi in a track. Also there is a small learning curve using a GUI like this.
  7. So who has it? Sometimes these type of libraries bring surge of giddiness and eventually get little use.
  8. Only if they fixed the low register samples which sound like an oboe. That range is never used in orchestra but solo literature will use the lower range.
  9. Flute is the most annoying to record. Look at available mics just for flute and they are not designed by flute players. I seen a flute that when into the headjoint which means removing the cap an cork.
  10. Until some stuffed shirts decide to buy them out. Always a fear now in the DAW world.
  11. Back on topic. I always blow off installing those Magix Music Makers but that video makes it look underrated for something to mess around. Also when you download and install it's the free version until you find that place to enter the serial.
  12. Samplitude Pro Suite upgrade is even better. https://www.magix.com/us/music-editing/samplitude/suite/?afsrc=1&CJEVENT=a5aaafdddad811ea812c01870a1c0e13
  13. It seems the trend now is these multiple modulation apps. Sure they sound great on a youtube video but the challenge comes trying to create the rest of the music around it. As for some of these synths I've heard similar sounds created from the never ending patches one can get for Spire. When you collect so much stuff you may comes across so many duplicates just be different developers. The interesting thing about that video is it's budget conscious.
  14. If you have Cubase it is called Spectra Layers One. I guess there are two upgrade options. LE and Pro. The interesting part is Magix has Soundforge Suite upgrade for $149 so you get Soundforge and Spectra Layers Pro for less. https://www.magix.com/us/music-editing/sound-forge/sound-forge-pro/ I'm more curious than interested since I'm pretty stupid with that kind of software.
  15. I'm thinking of looking into Melda's MSound Factory. If you have Melda everything you have more than the LE version.
  16. Claire instruments. I get crossgrade prices based on 8dio libraries I have.
  17. I feel that way when people auto tune everything to death.
  18. Same here. These are games by developers that don't always require boutique hardware. I prefer older games since they don't use a lot of space and can run on older systems.
