  1. Got Ice Crystals for Chromophone.
  2. Meanwhile I have everything of their and too stupid to figure out how to use them. I guess the every plugin looks like a rocket science and they are not pretty unless you use them in Live and lack of tutorials doesn't make them as popular as they should be.
  3. Someone else would do it instead.
  4. Some of Live's instruments are actually AAS. Chromophone probably has the greatest potential.
  5. I'm not sure the Multiphonics CV-2 is worth the $39 upgrade. They always demo their synths by themselves but how many of them actually would work in a track of other instruments like Spire, Sylenth, and Serum
  6. The knocked the price down on the whole collection. So for $10 more I got all 3 of those instead of just buying XL
  7. Is it not a good idea to upgrade Kontrol? I remember some rumblings about it.
  8. I many ways it is. Melda lifetime updates, no machine limit. Consumer loyalty - the more you byu direct from Melda the bigger the discount on bundles. When you have everything bundle all new plugins are also free.
  9. I guess the only issue with Fab Filter is once someone buys their plugins they don't buy too many plugins from other developers. They are a little pricey for users addicted to $29 plugins. I like their licensing. I hope some larger monster doesn't swallow them up and ruin them.
  10. Ahhhhh......that explains it. I guess my tin foil hat can go away now.
  11. My DAW sense are not about that. It's all of these acquisitions going around. Image Line bought UVI and let them run business as usual. Is UVI eventually gonna be sold off. Ever since the 3 headed monster, I've only bought Komplete and ignore Izotope and PA since their deals aren't luring. I just find this sale a strange partnership.
  12. It sets my DAW conspiracy senses tingling. I get it when it comes to plugins but romplers not so much,
  13. Am I the only one finding it odd UVI products on sale at NI? Is Spitfire next? Sampletank?
  14. I do that with my Sweetwater card. Some items have 3 year interest free financing. I have Cubase and Studio One for $6 a month. I think about upgrading to the CE edition but you have to evaluate that upgrade price vs, are you really getting that much amount in new stuff. SSD prices have went up a bit. That also has to be considered as well. That is where a sample library sub has its advantages. If you want some sounds for short term, you download, then delete it.
  15. Maybe you have to throw some famous names of those who use NI libraries.
  16. Yep....Linux....lost.... in the consumer market.
  17. Whoever thought this statement would exist 20 years ago.
  18. This use to be Loop Loft. BTW there are Battery kits. Many of us use to be Loop Loft junkies.
  19. The sub pandemic is alive and well. Most developers offer subs these days but give you the other option of a license. It's rational some user for sound libraries. I couldn't see it for plugins. Rent to own worked for Splice.
  20. I love Waves for their **** business model. I no longer hoard plugins like I use to. $29 for any plugin by any developer doesn't do it for me anymore. It's still hard to beat those Waves timeless classics. Licensing is the #1 issue for me.
  21. I could see them doing it for their libraries like for Maschine users. I doubt anyone is going to pull a Waves.
  22. They fall short of being Waves unless they introduce WUP.
  23. Hey someone used the food comparison correctly. Someone will compare a plugin price to justify it by comparing food. I can get a nice tasting bottle of Caberlet or Merlot for $5 (not a liquor snob at all) and it better for me. Food and fuel prices have easily doubled in America and I'm sure that is affecting the DAW industry relying on hobbyists. I has curbed by GAS spending (not enough) because I had to buy gas.
  24. You can stand in line with all of the other plugin brokers hoping people never see deals in other forums. Of course the end user can be tricked into it's only $10 a plugin.
