  1. Drive space is not cheap either. It depends on what other stuff you have. If you have plenty of drum VIs do you really need to install the Abbey Roads. The same goes for the pianos. As for strings I removed most of them. I have VSL, EW, 8Dio and who knows what else in that category.
  2. Their older stuff is packaged in their player at $29 each. I think they are probably worth it. IF I could do it over again I would have bought these than the old Sonivox stuff.

  4. https://www.facebook.com/groups/pa.audiophiles The backlash is starting.
  5. We shall see if there is backlash on their FB page unless they block them.
  6. In other words they are on my shitlist. This even tops Waves.
  7. Maybe you could give us a sample of them being used.
  8. Bluetooth sucks compared to cables. I've always kept a collection TRS to RCA since I've used M-Audio AP2496and still use them.
  9. I have them and they are worth the $199 when space is an issue.
  10. I just realized completing your collection was on sale. I was missing 5 or 6 plugins and have everything for $84.
  11. Mine is too busy buying unnecessary stuff to create something. Tracktion for me is like Cubase.....I don't really care for them. There is no legit reason. Tracktion can be a money pit with the more frequent paid upgrades and wanting you to buy their addons.
  12. Does this work as a stand alone? Older Waves versions did.
  13. I hope the presets are great for those of us too stupid or lazy to deal with compression.
  14. So is this that EQ to replace all EQs despite my habit of clicking the ones bundled in DAWs because they are right in front of you avoid the scrolling of 1000 plugins?
  15. I knew that Me too. I was trying to avoid....not another synth that I always fail. I'm surprised the Serum isn't really complicated. I was thinking of getting Codex as my free choice from Waves but passed. In the world of softsynths Waves tops them all in limited licensing.
  16. Glad to see this is now in English. I may prefer this over CM.
  17. My 3 machines with Serum and no WUP says not a chance in hell.
  18. Their licensing is flawed except for using an iLok. This is also why the universal installer can be flawed. Online deactivation seems to be broken. You can deactivate a machine that had the version they give away. Download the new installer and the previous license will still remain instead of the Studio version. When you click in the essential version to upgrade it will take you to their page to buy a license instead of entering a serial number. You also really can't change anything in the registry to fix it either. This is the second time I dealt with this. Support accused me of being rude despite their lack of literacy after telling me 7 times to do something after doing it 3 times. A DAW with ARA might sound great but DAW upgrades can break older versions of Melodyne and you hope either Celemony or DAW developers fix it . This happened when S1-4 came out and broke Melodyne 2. FL Studio and Live have something similar. I once ran an audio to midi conversion in Live and Melodyne and both had different results. One was not better over the other. A DAW bundled with Melodyne Essential is not really a bonus. I think I've collected more free licenses than the Izotope Elements.
  19. Either they messed up again or it was a consolation prize for my reply and Koby's reply but I did get another free plugin. This still doesn't put my in the Wave's fan club.
