  1. Have you searched the forum for posts about Musio? If not, I would recommend it because some other Cakewalk users have posted comments.
  2. Based on the image above (thanks, @JohnnyV) and some posts at another website it seems that Rapture version 1.2.2.10 is the version that was posted to CCC. I will try the process described here to see if version 1.2.2.10 can be added to my account since I would prefer to use an official channel to get a copy of the software. UPDATE: That process leads to a dead end: UPDATE: I used e-mail directly instead of the link on the website FWIW: The project file repeatedly works without fail when I replace the synth with other software synths (Edirol VSC, DimPro, MSF, various newer synths from companies like IK and Arturia, etc.). When I replace any of those with Rapture 1.2.2.7, it again crashes. I have used other problem-solving strategies.
  3. I will assume you mean Cakewalk. I will also assume you have put an audio recording of a commercial soundtrack onto an audio track within a Cakewalk project. There are several ways to put FX Plug-in onto a track. If it were me, I would just either (1) drag a plug-in from the Browser and put it onto the track's FX bin or (2) right-click on the track's FX bin and choose "Insert Audio FX." There are other ways, too. If you have trouble reading the Cakewalk Reference Guide and Online Documentation, there are video tutorials that should help familiarize you with the terminology and methods used in DAWs such as Cakewalk. BTW, welcome.
  4. Nope; not those issues. When I get some time, I will try to track it down. It works without incident on older PCs with less resources.
  5. Speaking just for myself, 54 seems too young to retire. It is not to late to pursue your dreams, though.
  6. Interesting that you have it in the CCC. Maybe I got it before the CCC was in effect? Or maybe mine isn't there because I got it as an upgrade? Maybe tomorrow I will try to uninstall and reinstall so it doesn't crash at the same point in the song.
  7. Does the keyboard have a manual? If so, there's where I'd start.
  8. I just checked to see if I had Rapture on my current audio PC. I do, but I get the not-set-up-properly-use-the-CD-to-reinstall warning. I tried the CCC method, but I only see Rapture Session there. I have the setup files for Rapture 1.21 and the upgrade for Rapture 1.22, but I need to find my serial number to install them. Perhaps you are talking about Rapture Pro, which was a separate purchase IIRC and might have been offered as a free perk to some loyal Cakewalk users who were lucky enough to have seen the email offer. Update: I managed to find my serial number and registration code and install it. The in-app (CbB) registration dialog needs CbB to be in administration mode. Then to run CbB, it needs to be restarted in normal mode (so fas as I can tell). The 1.22 upgrade gives a warning that version 1.0 (or maybe it said 1.1) or higher needs to be installed. Since I had just installed 1.21 I allowed the PC to proceed. I also installed installed the expansion packs. I used F5 to make sure all sound content was listed within Rapture. Rapture seemed to work properly; however, in three out of three tests runs (playing back 2-Part Invention #13 in A Minor), CbB crashes to Windows.
  9. I just tried several of my custom workspaces as well as None, and a few of the factory workspaces. In almost all of them the D toggles the Multi-Dock and it is centered (just like the Track View). When I found one that didn't line up on the right, I clicked the downward arrow (v) on the top of the right-hand panel and reselected "Dock at Right" even though it was already checked. That seemed to lock the right-hand panel for the full height. After doing that D toggled the Multi-Dock to be centered between the full-height left and right panels. Maybe that will work for you? PS: I tried it again (several times) and it worked again. I used the Advanced Factory Workspace because that defaults to segmented right-side modules that seem to have their own width. Each time I was able to get the Multi-Dock's width to be centered between the left-side and right-side columns. If you are using a custom Workspace or if you use a Factory Workspace that doesn't have the Multi-Dock centered and this method works for you, you might want to set it up the way you want and resave the Workspace with a new name.
  10. Based on my shopping experience of the past several years, the synth stack has been cumulative and the upgrade price was based on what users previously purchased. Around the same time as the Level Up Humble Bundle, CA announced an across the board Not For Resale / No Transfers Allowed policy. The Bundle included the CA 2600, the Memorymode, and the PS_20 Synths. It is my understanding that those helped reduce the upgrade price of the Synth Stack in the past. So, who knows what they will do for any future Synth Stacks. Maybe they put those three synths into the low-cost bundle to help with a new Synth Stack marketing strategy, especially if they continue to offer upgrade prices based on previous purchases (which many will agree has been a benefit of investing in Cherry Audio products). Disclosure: I wasn't sure I'd be selling off some of my CA holdings in time for the August 1st transfer deadline, so I picked up the Humble Bundle (with duplicates of the 3 synths and VM Ignite which I don't need). Not sure what I am going to do with those unredeemed HB codes. I might redeem the Galactic Reverb code; not sure. Anyhow, I thought I should mention this because I am not totally unbiased when it comes to CA products. ?
  11. I appreciate the heads up! I hope Fanatical can deliver what the website says is included. I just took a look at the bundle. It definitely says 4 individual keys delivered right above images of the 4 products. Also, its listed in the description.
  12. I cannot give you a reason, but several years ago I noticed the same thing. For my system the optimum setting was not the maximum buffer size. I just assumed that the crackle and unwanted audio artifacts were the results of hardware (PC, audio devices, etc.), configuration/settings, and specific software used at the moment.
  13. Ahem. The way I read that (and I hope I am wrong), someone who owns a license for a single paid product gets the same upgrade benefit as someone (for example) who has paid for 80-90% of the contents of a bundle. Again, I hope I am wrong, but if the new an upgrade pricing plan treats someone who owns a single product the same as someone who has spent hundreds or thousands of dollars or euros for licenses, that is not what I would call a progressive pricing structure to reward customer loyalty.
  14. Let’s cut a deal. Neither of us need it. Neither of us should buy it. So I won’t buy it if you won't. Earlier (like 5 hours ago) I was 100% onboard with this and gave it a "Great Idea" emoji. "Of course," I thought to myself, "if this were an echo/delay instead of a spring reverb, I knew GAS would get the better of me." Then, it got "The Good Starship Krupa Plug-In Seal of Approval." So I took a look. And wouldn't you know--the Plug-In Boutique freebie-with-purchase is "The Comeback Kid Delay by Baby Audio." Plus I had I had $1.87 in rewards!!!!! ? Needless to say, I went back on my commitment not to buy it. What can I say? I'm a sucker for yet another Delay/Echo. Plus I got a Spring Reverb. ?
  15. While I disagree with your assessment of Pigments, I will not try to change your mind. You are entitled to your personal preferences. However, since you just got it, I would encourage you to ask for a refund instead of grumbling that you wasted your money.
  16. I picked up Samplitude Pro X4 around 2018 (before I got the news that Cakewalk had been rescued from the ashes). It never worked properly and was it was impossible to learn after using SONAR/Cakewalk for ages. Since then I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times to give it another shot. It was still problematic for me. Most frustrating was that I couldn't figure out how to install it without the Magix "low-latency" drivers. Each time, it messed up my PC's audio system, and I had to take extraordinary measures to remove it. The last time I finally bought the paid version of Revo Uninstaller. Against my better judgment, I am thinking that for $20 Samplitude Pro X5 might be worth trying. Does anyone know of a way to prevent Samplitude from installing its audio drivers?
  17. Verrrrrrry Interesting. Hope you can help convince the powers that be to offer a really good upgrade offer to loyal IK Customers. How about this: Charge 50 cents for each plug-in/component license already owned to be updated, $1.00 for T-RackS 6 license updates not already owned (up to 30 new licenses ,$2.00 for ones over 30), and a locked in rate of $5.00 per new plug-in/component to be added in the future. Offer this deal for one month with clearly stated dates. The idea is to really reward brand loyalty to those who have been most loyal (as evidenced by past purchases) with a progressive pricing structure.
  18. Descriptions with direct links to the demo, preset breakdown pages.
