  1. I used to use them a lot. The Melda convolution is my goto these days... "pick one Tape Machine, which one would you recommend? 24, 440, 80, or 99? " inquiring minds want to know... t
  2. First; Top Notch as always Nigel so many ?'s on that! Your intern has done well, no doubt about it; continue to mentor her, she has talent. Sometimes "banned" is a badge of honor!* <my comments over at YouTube> First rate as always Nigel! I tried to "like" and my option was to "unlike"? I don't remember seeing this before, and the "thumb" is black? Now what's up with that YouTube? I see/hear nothing to censor here..... </my comments over at YouTube> t *remember My Generation was banned upon release in the UK, it was "feared" stutterers might be offended...
  3. SVX was one of the first IKM products I bought (2011). Used one of my GB's to add SVX-2. Basically the only Bass amp one needs. t In the "day" the SVX was considered 1 Volume Unit, a "must have" for any bass player that wanted to keep up with my '69 "stack". The Acoustic 360, also 1 Volume Unit, was fine out in the crowd, but on stage that big folded horn wasn't that loud. The 8 tens in the SVX were "loud" everywhere...
  4. Yes, everything $149 or lower comes up on the drop down list in the AVAILABLE coupons. t
  5. @TheStevenMy ARC 3 just arrived; MEMS mic and Registration Card in a box marked CROSSGRADE. When I registered the Serial Number, the ARC 3 software and TRackS5 Deluxe showed up in My Products. I now have 4 product coupons available in PROMOTIONS (soon to be 5 and then who knows?...). HTH, t
  6. 279 to go here in FireFox; 'mazing how the results vary... t
  7. WARNING! Incomplete answer I have an A-Pro 500 (Roland, labelled Cakewalk) With the A-Pro (bear in mind I installed to Win 10 three years ago) you install the A-Pro (meaning plug in the usb cable and turn on the keyboard) while connected to the internet and Windows "runs" and "grabs" the driver. Evidently that's what I did because it works fine (there's also a Cake Control Surface dll that needed installing) I guess that is a long winded question; do the Alesis and/or Arturia have Win 10 drivers? t
  8. Tried to drop a "like" and "comment" over at SoundCloud. This is set to "private" maybe? Just curious... t
  9. I've been complaining a bit lately on the "state" of my ears. I would bring the vocal/narrative up a bit more, but see above. That being said, high marks overall from me; pretty epic! t I live but to serve thee my Queen...
  10. You need to watch the video, puts things into context. ?'s t

  12. I am, I'm back! t your avatar still looks like a ninja turtle Jesse ?
  13. For some odd reason Defying Gravity played first. I don't know, do you? Guess not, cause you did say "I don't know what I don't know"... ?'s on both. t
  14. ARC 3 with the Mic, ($104.99 using Jampoints). That was as you can see on Tuesday 8-10. Checking FedEx tracking says it will be here on Tues 8-17 (I'm in the Seattle area), so I expect it will take a week to CA. It has NOT showed up in My Products as of yet, but I get the impression we have to register ARC 3 first. My Products shows I have TRackS5 Custom Shop so will I be offered TRacks5 Deluxe? Stay tuned... I do see a crossgrade/upgrade path to TRackS5 MAX for $299 in my account, but nothing to TRackS5 Deluxe. t
  15. Not my genre Dave, but I think Wookie has given some sage advise. t
  16. +1 there Inquiring minds want to know! another +1 Overall ?'s t
  17. Indeed you are right! I played a Tennessean back in the day and had forgotten that not all Gretch's have the "thumbnail" fret markers. And the Volume knob in front of the pickguard should have been a dead giveaway. t as usual I could have looked this up... per Babiuk's Beatles Gear: "George's Gretsch Duo Jet was made in 1957. George bought this instrument in the summer of 1961 after seeing a ad in a Liverpool newspaper."
  18. Lets not get in a p-i-s-s-i-n-g contest here. BUT What is labeled and marketed as Orange these days, you think is a faithful reproduction of what was an Orange amp back in the day? CORRECTION: From Wikipedia The Orange Gibson Years 1993–1997 Following Mathias' death in 1989, his sons Peter and Richard continued the business until 1992 when the company was sold to amplifier enthusiast Jeff Lewis. In 1993, Gibson licensed the name to manufacture Orange Amplification. Gibson decided to have their Orange amplifiers made by Matamp in Huddersfield again in order to keep the "Made in England" identity. The first Gibson era Orange reissues released were the Graphic 120 and Overdrive 120 launching in 1994 followed by the Graphic 80 and Overdrive 80. Sonically, there was a marked difference between these reissues and the original 1970s Pics & text heads. The capacitors fitted in the EQ section had Series Two Overdrive Head values. A small number of Orange Super Bass 120 reissues were also made based on the circuit of the 1979 Series Two Super Bass. The 1990s Orange reissues were not commercially successful and it was mutually agreed that the licence would not be renewed. In February 1997, Gibson handed the Orange name back to Cliff Cooper. I might actually be wrong! t
  19. $1.14 after applying "virtual cash". IIRC, @bitflipperhighly recommended the MDynamicEQ. t does anyone need/want the 101, @cclarry can I give it away?
  20. fortunately I had just "pulled the trigger" on the 4; not that I couldn't use the 8 mind you... t
  21. See you made it easy! Thanks Lars t "You're just what I needed"
  22. say YES Larry so I can pull the trigger 2TB or 4TB; I can't decide. the 8TB is the "best buy" on a per TB basis. t ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  23. This is the "NO-BRAINER" price point; yes? t my only quandary now is do I jump the bones of the 4TB at $379????? decisions, decisions; I feel like a deering in the headlites...
