More good stuff Doug! I think its one guitar hard panned left with the delay hard panned right (until the solo); I think. Maybe Doug will clue us in. But I do agree David, its very effective. ? t

Another brilliant Tour de Force Nigel! Too many thumbs to list! tom doesn't cost any extra to jump over to YouTube, Nigel has posted some really great content...

Why are we so VST3 centric? This is not the first VST3 that has proven "buggy" in CbB. I don't think that CbB is always to blame. VST3 FabFilter plugs, no issue, (of course, why am I not surprised!) exclude the vst2 dll. SampleTank3 (I know its now "old"), exclude the VST3. I take it on a case by case basis... tom Just because its new, doesn't mean its better

I'm running the V5 trial right now (Studio 4 user) and find the only way to play the "Region" is to double click in the "region". That's fine while editing notes, levels, etc. But I get no playback of the selected vocal (in this case) and the rest of the track. This can't be "expected" behavior? Win 10 Home (up to date) and EA1 tom

Ok, sucked in! GAS! Is the Vocal Leveler something I should install? t

Discussion in Deals here Not the only vst3 with "issues" in CbB. Generally not CbB that's at issue! Personally, I generally grab the vst2 of most everything first. Just because its new doesn't mean its better... tom

So what's the verdict? Is it working in CbB or not? tom

Let The Son Shine Down On Me - Joshua Barnes
DeeringAmps replied to Ruralrocker2010's topic in Songs
Forum has been pretty quiet the last two days, give it some time. You've got a pretty strong chorus here (and that's what counts; right?) The guitar (solid tone there, IMHO) drew me right in. If I'm mixing I'd bring the vocal up a bit I think, make the lyrical message a bit easier to decipher (maybe its just these battered old ears). Do we need something more in the rhythm section; piano, a B3? Maybe? There's times when the bass is holding it down, then the kick, but a lack of solid cohesion I think. Or its just me; take it with a grain of salt as they say. I'm going to agree, I don't think you're done just yet, the Let The Son Shine On Me - 3rd Final MixDown, not withstanding... tom and I'd be remiss if I didn't say Welcome Back! -
A+ on the production here. But, I'm really seeing this as the demo. If I'm producing I feel like we need to "tell a story, where are we going with this?" 4:35 of pretty much the same thing over and over. It's beautiful, but I think we need a little more to hold the audience's interest. Maybe its just me today... t

you mean like this? Well done mates! t

48 hours and narry a comment? Shame on us! What's my excuse? the sun's been out and, well you know... What's yours? As always Freddy, superb storytelling! What more can I say, I'm a big fan. And, post a link to Mangrove Sally, searching for it on my phone; pages and pages! Actually don't, not only can you weave a tale, you do it in abundance. Your body of work is like a Dylan song, verse after verse after verse. You're shaming me man! But in a good way... t

That's a good description, but not polished? Maybe sometimes we "polish" to a fault... Mandolin in there, right? Some pretty speedy pickin' there. Well done! ? t

Well Jerry you definitely set the "bar" for orchestration on the forum. I'm not good with genres so I'll just say electronica? Is that right. Those who do this need to have a listen and see hear how its done. I would make a comment on the recurring "voice" in the left can, but I'm never able to really pull off humor in this context; so I'll just leave that alone... Thanks for sharing! t

I have to say I agree with Tom. I would maybe bring the chorus vocal up a taste and pull the solo down just a bit? Not a big deal. Much prefer the final fade on this one. Overall nicely done. tom

You are being way too hard on yourself! I enjoyed it, and being a guitar player of a certain age this is not my genre. Please leave it up, the consensus seems to be very positive... t

Welcome to the forum Mick. Well done. Looking forward to more. A bit abrupt at the end. tom That a LP Custom in the photo?

Working The Paradigm Shift (by The Prodigal Sounds)
DeeringAmps replied to Colin Nicholls's topic in Songs
I'm with Lynn on this one; couldn't have said it better myself. t -
I don't know about shielded wire, so I can't comment (overkill?). No good reason not to go with the 12-2 and 20amp outlets, IMHO. This of course assumes you have at least 20 amp capacity at the sub panel (probably at least 50 amps per leg?) I have heater/ac/lighting on one leg and computer/audio gear on the other; no issues. tom

LMFAO

Nicely done Lynn. Well played (and programmed) across the board. EZKeys served you well in this one, and I imagine represented a lot of work on your part. The flute a mellotoon patch? ? t

Wow! What can I say, very nice indeed! tom
