When was the last time you used Cakewalk's X-Ray feature
jesse g replied to jesse g's topic in The Coffee House
Oh man, were you cool if you got one of these and folks stepped into your project studio. I was drooling over one of these back in the day, until I got my Mackie Universal Pro. It is still working !!! -
Honestly, I have to say that I totally forgot about this feature in Cakewalk until I was going through my preferences. Check it out, newbies you might be in for a surprise. To turn on this feature, go to preferences. Look under Customization and click on Display, and then click on "Enable X-Ray" near the bottom of the window. Now open a plugin, or a virtual instrument and click on it and then hold down Shift and X. This works on most Plugins and Virtual instruments.

Not even worth keeping, it's something for Waves to charge me later to WUP. ?

Thanks Jeremy, I love the software, but I am glad I didn't clone this drive, it was a mess. I will clone the next drive, however, onto my 4T SSD. Thanks

I have Ni Access 3.0.1 and all of my files were backed up to an external 4 TB hared drive using AOMEI Backupper software. I don't want to dump any bad files onto the new 2T B SSD, that is why I want to perform a clean install, because we all collect freebies. I want to get rid of the older unused software I once installed. I just wanted to know how others started over from a crash. AOMEI Backupper The free version is what I uses and it's rather good.

The Dang Daw Died. My hard drive crashed on my studio computer last night and I was having a heart attack. Yes, I do back up once a week, but it's just the idea of the Dang Daw Dying. I was going to try to use the same 2 TB SSD drive again, but I think I will buy a new one and start over. I am not reloading any junk software stuff on this one and I am limiting the amount of software installed on it as well. Reinstalling my Waves Plugins Reinstalling my Plugin Alliance plugins Reinstalling my Native Instruments Komplete 13U I have to reinstall my Cakewalk (Rapture, Dimensions Pro, Z3TA+2, Rapture Pro, Session Drummer 2, as well s the other Cakewalk stuff.) What have you folks done when it came to a crashed drive?

bitflipper, Did you bite your dog back? I know you two were playing with a toy, but I would have chewed on his/her paw so we'd both be in the same situation. RUFF, RUFF

Someone quicker got to it before you ?

Do you think adding Komplete 14 standard at $199.99 to my K13U is a great idea? Is there a better way to get Kontakt 7 and some of the newer instruments, FX's and expansion kits.
