  1. Hey all, I am searching for a pair of Hardware EQ's and wanted to know what folks have in their studios. I am trying to get away with using plugins for tracking and want to try hardware. Any reasonable Suggestions. Since I am looking for two single or a dual channel unit, my price is about $1,100 max for the dual unit, and $600.00 max for the single unit. but I rather no look at the higher end stuff first. I am looking at following so far in pairs. Golden Age Project EQ-81 MKIII Golden Age Project EQ-73 MKI Golden Age Project EQ-73 Premier Warm Audio EQP-WA Tube Program Equalizer With all of these, I am first looking for sales and B-stock from the manufacturer to get the lowest price. (You do know it's a home studio, don't you)?
  2. Do you guys realize the fist girl to speak was Tatyana Ali, who was the little girl on the Fresh Prince of Bell Air TV show.
  3. Steve, Have you gone into the IK Project Manager and clicked on Manage My Products button, Next, click on the Sounds tab to install the sounds for the new 1.5 drums. Also you will find other items you may have never for other products. If it is expired, you will not be able to install it, however, for a small re-download fee, you will be able to reinstall everything.
  4. This is a testimony from a former Avid user who spent over 30 years using Avid Products. Now, he endorses Plugin Alliance and other plugin companies over Avid. He discusses why you should subscribe to Plugin Alliance Bundles. By the way, he doesn't get sponsored by Plugin Alliance for what he says.
  5. Tezza, The picture is a bit deceiving. The goose neck is not very long and the filter part is not very wide, but It will suffice though. When using it the neck stays in place for now, so that is a plus.

  11. It was a blessing for me to receive this chair for only $100.00. at a company liquidation sale. I had never heard of the brand before until I saw this post and didn't think much about if afterwards until I needed my chair fixed. The great part about it is, they honored the warranty!! All I knew at that time after sitting in that chair was ahh, my butt feels good, and so this must be the chair for me.
  12. Alright, I know this is an old topic, but I just had to share this. So, we were discussing the Aeron Chair back in 2021 in this thread. Well, I submitted a comment that my sister-in-law took me to her job and I purchased a chair that looked like the one posted by the OP for $100.00. Well, I looked under the chair 2 days ago and it was indeed a Herman Miller Aeron chair. I was trying to find out who made the chair because it needs several minor repairs. Alright, here is the best part. They asked me to send them a photo of the make and model number from beneath the chair, which I did, and they informed me the chair is still under warranty and they will send a technician to my home to fix or replace the parts on my chair. Now that is Service. These chairs are so comfortable it's incredible, just sit in one and you will buy it. https://seatingmind.com/herman-miller/

  22. No, it was called Symantec and they had SAM for MAC. It was on a Floppy utilities disk back them. I remember because the store owner who sold me the Mac told me to install it as it was going to keep my computer from getting sick. The Utilities floppy came with all Apple/Macs back then. We saved everything to Floppy and had more floppies laying around the house than clothes. LOL
  23. Wow Winamp, I haven't heard that name since I stopped using it in 2005. The first time I downloaded it was from Share Bear or was it Care Bear, whatever, it was a viscous Bear that gave me a nasty computer virus. When I finally went to the Winamp site and downloaded it, I fell in love with the Gold Skin because it looked like the Marantz Gold stereo system I had at the time.
