  1. I'm an owner of the K13 Ultimate Edition, my upgrade price is $399.00 for the download. Hmm? I think I could do something better with that money like save it toward getting me another hardware Mic-Pre. I think I might just update my Kontakt 6 to Kontakt 7 for $99.00 and use what I already have in Komplete 13UE. ?
  2. Larry, I purchased this plugin and didn't like the way is sounded, as it was too harsh. I am going to update it anyway, and then let it sit in my plugin arsenal untouched for several more years. ?
  3. Larry, Thanks, I also had an update for two instruments as well.
  4. Hey All, You have to look at this YouTube channel, these guys are sooo funny when it comes to using Studio Equipment. Check out ~~~~> Serious Gear
  5. Zargg, I too have the WA73-EQ, and I love it as my vocal chain Mic Pre. I was watching a video that says were using the pre-amp wrong if we didn't have the output all the way up and then dial in the Line or the Mic signal. I then watched some Neve 1073 videos from other engineers discussing their use and that was their consensus also.
  6. Hey Folks, Here is a deal! Warm Audio WA-273 Two Channel British Mic Preamp (B-Stock) only $829.00 usually $1,099.99 plus free shipping from the Warm Audio Warehouse. If there's one style of preamp that professional engineers would unanimously agree has defined the tone of pop/rock records for decades, it would most definitely be the venerable '73-style of mic pre. '73-style preamps have been massively used in recording and live applications for many years and are still considered to be the 'Holy Grail' of preamp choices today. Check it out here ~~> Warm Audio Shop on Reverb
  7. I purchased a Schecter Raiden Special 4 String Electric Bass several years ago when I wanted to learn how to play. I got a great deal at MF when it was on sale, but that Schecter bass is no longer being made. Check out Sweetwater Basses, the Yamaha and Ibanez are great low cost basses.
  8. Ed, Really, you mean smoothies actually help, how?
  9. I just realized something, this forum is full of folks who are jacked UP!! ?? It is 11:15 am and I am sipping on my 5th cup of coffee while thinking about where to go for the closet coffee shop to read a book and get a fresh cup of coffee.

  11. Larry, Thanks again dude, It arrived this afternoon and it's great. It is a bit smaller than I thought, but that's alright, I love controlling the reverb from this device. ??? 3 thumbs up for you man!!!
  12. Wow, it has rack ears, I have just enough space left in my Rack to add this one piece, but then I will have to buy more TC gear. Darn you for showing me this. LOL ?
  13. I just added a second video from Mixbus about the TC8210 go to my post showing the first video to see this one underneath it.
  14. This is a great video for everyone to watch who is interested in using a hybrid studio, (using hardware while working in the box).

  20. Soundtoys for VST3 Is Here! October 18, 2022 We’re excited to announce the release of Soundtoys version 5.3.8 which adds VST3 support for our entire lineup of effects. VST3 support is available for both Windows and macOS, and offers native compatibility with both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M-series) and Intel processors. We will continue to support both VST3 and VST2 formats for all products for the time being. This update is free for all users with Soundtoys version 5 or later plug-ins. Log into your Soundtoys account and download the installers on our downloads page. Known Issues and Notes In Digital Performer 11, discrete parameters behave incorrectly for VST3. We recommend using VST2 or AU in Digital Performer 11 until the issue can be resolved. Some hosts will automatically replace VST2 plug-ins in sessions with matching VST3 versions, depending on the DAW and your DAW preferences. Our VST3 versions are fully interchangeable with their VST2 counterparts, but not all hosts implement this feature of VST3.
