Well done and quite mesmerizing too. The main percussion which I think is sort of like a kick drum with a filter sweep treatment sounds pretty cool. -Bjorn
  2. A migraine headache put to music and video. I used to get bad migraines before there were effective medications to stop them. I'd be in bed for a couple of days in pain only getting out of bed to throw up in a bucket. Good times. But now one Imitrex tablet kills the headache before it can take hold. Instruments: Analog lab 5 Pigments Falcon MiniBrute vst Lowdown vst Z3TA+ Behringer Pro VS Mini which is a hardware synth about 4x9 inches and sits on my desk nicely. Really tiny but sounds great.
  3. KS, tom, Kevin. Thank you! I appreciate the comments.
  4. Would make a nice soundtrack for a Halloween movie. I think it needs more variety though because a lot of sections just sound similar to me. But overall well done. -Bjorn

Very well done! Impressive performance of the lead brass instrument and outstanding drum track. -Bjorn
  6. My dog accidentally swallowed a whole bag of scrabble tiles. We took him to the vet to get him checked out. No word yet… I told my doctor I have a problem with my left ear. “Are you sure?” I replied, “Yeah, I’m definite.” Michael Jackson put out some very good albums. But I think we can all agree his 7th album was Bad. I come from a family of failed magicians. I have 2 half sisters Cow farts come from the dairy air. What's the difference between gray and grey? One is a color and the other is a colour. I recently got squashed by a load of books... I've only got my shelf to blame. How do you make 7 even? You take away the s. I love going outdoors. It’s so much safer than going out windows. Is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is? credit: ThePunnyWorld
  7. Nigel, Steve, Jack thanks I appreciate the comments. Wookie, I'm a retired pharmacist. I've prepared a lot of morphine drips but at a veterans' hospital they were used for heart attack and cancer patients. -Bjorn
  8. Nigel, wonderful lyrics and a sentiment that resonates. Great production as usual. -Bjorn
  9. Must have been tedious to put that movie together back in 1933. Lots of cutting and pasting, as in a knife and tape and not the digital definitions today. Nice work on syncing the lyrics to the beat. The Beatles nod at the end fit in very well. I think I'd try changing the Twin Peaks clip to monochrome and adding an old time look filter on it. And when that doesn't work I'd revert back to the original. Always interesting stuff you do, Steve. -Bjorn
  10. Little White Pill I got the idea for the lyrics from a song by Gillian Welch called "My Morphine" I've always liked the song for its melody and for the not your usual love song subject. https://gillianwelch.bandcamp.com/track/my-morphine For my song I wanted to use the melody from Blueberry Hill but I couldn't hit the higher notes so the song evolved into something else. I haven't done a vocal in a while for obvious reasons. I used a lot of Melodyne which helped get me on pitch but it introduced some artifacts which I gave up on trying to fix. So the vocal isn't too good but it doesn't much matter. It was fun to do. Thanks for listening/comments. Sounds good and sounds like you had a great time making the music. -Bjorn
  14. Very smooth and laid back. Great mix too. Everything is well placed and easy to pick out. -Bjorn
  15. Jack, Wookie, Steve - thank you!
  16. Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow Just an energetic electronic noodling kind of song with some movie dialog bits thrown in. Thanks for listening/commenting.
  17. Best cover of Crying I've heard, not only hitting those high notes but also expressing the emotions behind them. -Bjorn
  18. Wow, I think I like your version better than the original. Simply wonderful work, Ross. -Bjorn
  19. I was in a band called Missing Cat. Maybe you saw our posters? Ok maybe not a pun...
  20. Lot going on in this song and you handled it like a pro. Excellent -Bjorn

Nice use (and control) of delay fx and I like how the piano fits in so well with the backing track. I really enjoyed this one. -Bjorn
  22. Mar, remarkable how close this sounds to a CSN song. No crits from me, just wanted to chime in and say how much I liked this. Love the guitar! -Bjorn
  23. Impressive array of synths and they're all synced up well. Just my opinion: The thumping drum is too dominant and repetitive but maybe that's the "house" genre signature (IDK. I don't keep up) There were some moments without the drum and right there I heard a nice background for playing improvisational keyboard stuff. Like I said, just my opinion and taste in music. -Bjorn
  24. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Well I don't know why I put in the dialog stuff except it seemed like a good idea at the time. Gonna take it out. -Bjorn
  25. Sounds really good. Was the vocal track pretty clean after the extraction? Going beyond the techy stuff I thought the song itself was very good. Nice job. -Bjorn
