I have no idea what a hurricane is like, never mind two of them. Glad you survived! I like the classic blues thing that you do. They fit in with your stories well. Always a pleasure to hear your songs Freddy. -Bjorn

The trumpet sounds great! It fits in really well with that very smooth and cool background. Nice! -Bjorn

Ross, I like the animated swooping sounds and the piano focus at the start and end. Very well done. Enjoyed it a lot -Bjorn

Synchronicity Just an old fashioned song built around a nice melody. I was going for something Appalachian sounding using the new Appalachian instrument by Indiginus but it didn't work out that way. What I did get is pretty nice anyway, at least I think so. This is the first time I'd used EW Backup Singers. They sound really good but might be a little over the top? String instrument is Fiddle by Bolder Sounds. I like this one better than the Indiginus Fiddle but they're both good. Thanks for listening/comments. -Bjorn EastWest Backup Singers Indiginus Appalachia Bolder Sounds Fiddle

David Lynch lives on. Cool video and song. I like it. -Bjorn -
Passages The theme has kind of a middle eastern sound which I came up with, but it seems a bit familiar? Can't place it so not sure if it's some well known bit of melody or not. Anyway, here it is. Omnisphere Falcon AAS Ultra Analog Thanks for listening/comments. -Bjorn

Seems more like Van Morrison genre to me. Wonderful song, enjoyed it a lot. The mix is super clear which my decrepit ears appreciate. The ending is bit abrupt. Great job on this. From the Sound Cloud comments I gather you're Swedish? -Bjorn

Nicely done. I like it. Wondering if you extracted the vocal using stem separation technology? Anyway, the vocal sounds really good even after 40 years. Maybe bring it up just a bit though. -Bjorn

The vocal libraries work very well in your productions. Do you need to do some pitch correction on them to fit the key? I like the steady percussion beat in the background which is subtle enough to not be so noticeable but gives it a lot of tension. -Bjorn

Wookie, I expect to hear another of your spacey creations real soon. Hoping the best for you.

Fast Car *Tracy Chapman cover* ( Gary Brun master)

Mark, I love the guitar part which is kind of simple but beautiful and you played it beautifully. Wasn't sure if a male vocalist could make the lyrics work but you did. All around excellent. -Bjorn -
I think I'd recognize the Wookie style anywhere. Liking that main lead synth. Tempo change at ~3:00 seemed to accelerate or maybe I just expected it to. Nice change up. Good job! -Bjorn

Comes across to me as honest emotion, especially in the chorus. Maybe a little reverb there would help emphasize the emotion even more? Very clear lyrics which I appreciate. Didn't need the lyrics in text form. -Bjorn

I listened to both version and I think the 2nd drum track is a lot better. I like how the synth kicks in at :20 and remains in the background almost throughout. Guitar fits in well but level could be bit lower IMO. I enjoyed the spacy video. Great job. -Bjorn

Ross, just an excellent arrangement and performance that brings out the beauty of the melody. -Bjorn -
Hey Steve, Don't know how you do it but that is a perfect cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs. Really nice! -Bjorn

Just a beautiful voice and a piano. Knocked me out. -Bjorn ...the "current" Mrs Daryl always makes me laugh.

What you're doing reminds me of Deep Forest who blended ethnic and western music into some nice compositions. Check out Best of Deep Forest on You Tube. -Bjorn

Gone Forever (You Took My Heart Along) [Guitar Revival]
bjornpdx replied to Lummy Keen's topic in Songs
Nicely done. Great voice. The song is sad because of the lyrics but I wouldn't have thought so if I just heard the music. IDK maybe it needs more minor chords or something. Not sure about the genre. Could be country if you had more of a country voice. -Bjorn -
I like the kind of Theremin sound in there. I bought UJam virtual pianist recently on sale. It's similar to EZKeys I think. Haven't used it yet. -Bjorn
