Larry, I think I remember this one from the first time around. Very nice mood enhancer but I got distracted by the repeated phrase with the same five or six notes. Probably only noticed it because I was in critique mode. Other than that I enjoyed the listen. -Bjorn

I really enjoyed this one Makke! Sounds so good. I think the tempo could be slowed down a bit which would bring out the emotion in those great bends you do. -Bjorn

Jazz isn't my favorite genre but I respect the musicianship. Seems like it's mostly improvisational but somehow the performers make it work. Which I guess is what I mostly pay attention to while listening to jazz. Anyway, nice job on this. Excellent sound. -Bjorn

Great chord changes. Accompanying instrument is very good. Voc sounds bit thin to me. Maybe try doubling the voc track? Your lyrics are always good, this one especially so. -Bjorn

I don't know anything about harps except I like the sound. I had assumed the "pitch bends" were done by physically de-tuning strings somehow, but sounds like they're done in software? Lots of reverb and delay on this gives it an ethereal quality. Don't think you need to add anything more to it. Trying to figure out your name. Greek? -Bjorn

In a Galaxy Far Away I wrote a song that I didn't think was all that good so I made it a video soundtrack. I guess this is a learning Davinci Resolve project more than a real video. I downloaded a bunch of clips from Pixabay and iStock and applied some fx tricks like chroma keying and blending options for interesting results. At least I think they're interesting. Well some are kind of stupid. Fun to do though. Some fx didn't blend well so don't look too close. Thanks for watching/comments. -Bjorn

Tom, the video has it all - great images accompanied by music that, to me, describes an urban landscape perfectly. I really liked the Prochnow and Morris quotes at the beginning and, like Jesse, I expected a bleaker story from the video because of that introduction. But I like your take on it, that the city is a made up world of constant distractions. Anyway, I really enjoyed the video. Top notch production for sure! -Bjorn

The drums are from NI Mideast vsts. Lynn - Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Antler - Thanks. Seems like a library of vocals has just enough variety to extract one decent song from them. I usually use the vocal phrases. Tom - Thanks. Hmm I'll check that string you mentioned. I've been using NI Raum for reverb lately, pretty much tweaking random presets. I thought about using Melodyne on that bit you mentioned, but I kinda liked it as is. Paul - Thanks for listening and commenting. Appreciate it.

Looking at the waveform told me to expect a roller coaster ride to the event horizon. Very creative but also Kinda spooky sounds you came up with there Wookie, like the sound of coyotes in the middle of the night. I like the abrupt ending - poof you're gone. -Bjorn

Totally simpatico with the lyrics Freddy. Wish we would all just pause once in a while and think about what we're doing. I like the ending that just stops. Musically I think the song is a bit too dense - too much in the background that takes away from the voc. I really enjoyed it anyway. -Bjorn

Steve, yeah I think you're right. The song is long so it would be easy to cut a minute or two to lessen the repetition. Jack, Tim, Makke, Doug thanks for listening and commenting Tom, I like the "3 minute rocker" bit. Reminds me of The Who movie The Kids Are Alright (highly recommended). Pete Townsend says there's a rule in rock music - 3 minutes and 3 chords and that's it.
