Dumb question but anyone else not get the email it’s supposed to send when you click “download today” at the bottom. Refreshed and reclicked it maybe 5 times, checked my account email to make sure it’s associated to the right one, nothing yet

Now that words out they're probably experiencing high traffic.

    Yes, I received it.
But didn't need it as it immediately appeared in my account and I already had the UA installer installed.
If you haven't installed it yet, get it here: https://www.uaudio.com/downloads/ua-connect
then install it, run it (will need to activate with you UAD account info, iLok account info, etc.).

I just can't believe it happens enough where they have documentation to solve it.

It has to be because of Komplete 8 (which is outdated software) maybe?

Re: your comment...  They should just have a friggin menu item under the gear/settings  Help menu - "Rebuild/Reset databases"
It would save users and their tech support much aggravation.
    Stupid not to.

    Dunno...
I started with Komplete 3 just kept upgrading as time went along but when my previous audio computer died screaming "Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!" x infinity, I had to put it down and get another rig.  It's now buried in my closet among the honored pile of dead hardware that for some reason I'm still keeping.

When I put together my new system I think K11 was out, I installed it and I just backfilled (separately installed) any missing plugins/libraries that I considered important but that were no longer included.

So basically of you own the collection, is it worth getting or not ?

You mean should you spend the money on a free plugin/version?
    I would, but that's me.

If you have the collection (the set of 3) it's kind of an 'easy' version of the Silver.
It's very similar to Silver version in the collection, but has slightly different presets (some but not others, and some unique presets).

It’s the silver algo with the legacy GUI. We've removed the Mix control and fixed the Emphasis control in a sweet spot.

  6. Before you layout money for this

    1. If you ever signed up for something at https://www.stagecraftsoftware.com  (Stagecraft makes XTrack)
You might have a $50 credit in your account to spend.  If unsure do the "I lost my password" routine and if you have an account they'll email you your password.
I must have signed up for one of their freebies ages ago and in May of 2023 they deposited $50 in my account.
So XFade didn't end up costing me anything.

    2. Test the demo and see if it works for you.
Looks like it can cross fade between one track and one to three samples but not between 2 tracks (at least not with Cakewalk).
Maybe in a DAW other than Cakewalk it'll work for you.

I was going to do that but discovered for some unknown reason I didn't get a monthly loyalty voucher.  I don't recall that happening in the past and I know I purchased something from PA 2 or 3 months ago. Has anyone else not received their loyalty voucher? Maybe I should see if their support will work things out. I think I'd like to pick this plugin up.

I checked and I also haven't received one this or last month.
Maybe it was just an oversight but Lars didn't mention stacking codes.

    25$ vouchers are generic.

So you didn't get one either?

Edit: see follow up post 2 down.

If you haven't used your monthly $25 loyalty voucher yet, you can stack that on top and bring it down to $24.99 + VAT (so in Germany it's a total of $29.74, for example).

Damn, didn't think of that.  Too late now.
I was a day late the previous time this was on sale wasn't going to miss it this time.

I've got BBC Symphony Orchestra that seems to have no settings on disabling the panning they instilled into the samples they created.  Yes you can manually pan, but I'd rather have a plugin force it to center instead of me guessing if I'm center.

RECENTER automatically repairs off-centre stereo recordings while keeping the original stereo width which makes it an invaluable time-saver and a perfect tool for professional post-production. Fix off-centred stereo field recordings, dynamically centre vocal artists or musicians that moved around the stage or centre hard directional effects like drive-bys and stereo whooshes. RECENTER makes tedious panning automation obsolete so you can focus on your creative flow.

MSRP is $89 but you might be able to pick it up cheaper at a reseller.  IIRC last BF it was going for about 50% off.

From what I recall testing it - it's a bit overhyped but it worked.  Like always YMMV.

  11. TubeDept over 25% off JJ ECC83 / 12AX7 Gold Pin Preamp Vacuum Tube
    JJ-ECC83G-2.jpg?1381944652

These are the gold pin version of the standard JJ ECC83. The JJ ECC83G preamp vacuum tube exhibits a warm, rich tonality with a gentle amount of signal gain and quick compression. The solid short plate design provides an articulate response with excellent microphonics resistance. The gold plated pins provide a corrosion proof surface for maximum signal transfer. The JJ ECC83G is a great choice for first gain stage positions, especially when harmonic gain is desired, but works equally well anywhere a quality ECC83 / 12AX7 is needed. $34.95 | $24.95

Sale Ends Friday, October 6th, 12pm CST.
