  1. False positives do happen but it is rare when they occur across more that one or two scanners.
That it's triggered alerts on 12 scanners...  ain't touching that until it gets an all clear.

It's concerning that it failed to trigger any warnings on IKM dev machines.
They should examine their own process chain to insure something like this does not happen again.

Is the plugin you're trying to buy over $89?

$89 or more isn't working for me.
Tried a different browser and same thing.
I'll try again in the morning and if still having issues will contact support.
Was looking to pick up the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb.

  3. Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD Drops to $134 or lower...

    Currently $124 at Amazon
    Amazon.com: Samsung 990 PRO Series - 2TB PCIe Gen4. X4 NVMe 2.0c - M.2 Internal SSD

    per https://www.tomshardware.com/news/samsung-990-pro-2tb-ssd-now-134
    Samsung has dropped price.
Get this high-performance SSD for 7 cents per GB.

You can now find the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD available at multiple vendors for $134. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the drive, but it is one of the lowest. This discount is offered at Amazon, B&H Photo, and Best Buy. As of writing, no expiration date for the price drop has been specified.

We reviewed the Samsung 990 Pro SSD late last year and regarded it as one of the best SSDs on today’s market. It’s efficient, with top-notch performance to back it up and notable support from Samsung. Our biggest concern was that the MSRP was too high, but that goes out the window with this discounts.

  5. I emailed UA tech support Thursday but have not heard back.
If they come through great, I'll pick up their Pultec Collection.

It's not that it's not worth $39, it's just I that I already have multiple other Pultec VSTs from various developers.  They're not Pokémon, I'd don't have to collect them all.

  6. I'll probably use RG as an idea sketching/ song writing tool because it loads fast and does a couple of things OK (off the top steel string acoustic strumming & power chords).
Yeah there may be better sounding alternatives but sometimes I don't want to bother either whipping out a guitar or loading Kontakt for just sketching something out.

    Anyway YMMV.

Maybe subconsciously I felt I had to justify spending around $15 (I used BestService credits to kick price down a couple of bucks) or maybe I was just bored but I'm tired of this thread.
    Peace out.

That first video is from 14 years ago. I wonder if there have been any improvements or development on RG since then. Or was it perfect when it was released? Still trying to decide if it adds anything to what I already have. I am not taken by the sound of RG but if the sequencer is unique, it might be useful to feed it through of the number of guitar effects I own.

v1.5 was released in April 2010 and it seems that latest videos are spawned from that release.

Latest release is v1.6 and I can't find announcement or change list for it.
V1.6 possibly/probably added at least VST3 support (based on 2010 being too early for VST3) and NKS support.
Build dates on the v1.6 installers (one with NKS support the other without) exe are Feb 3rd, 2023.
    RG.vst3 file date is 7/15/21

I'm finding the Windows VST3 crashes on unload (it runs multiple exes in separate processes for the UI, I think) - anyone else?

it crashed my ableton when i close project, in machine etc ok

    Fired it up on Ableton.
Ditto on both comments and it seemed a bit sluggish to boot.
Maybe because it was the first time running it in Ableton.
Will have to play with it more when I have time to see if it's worth keeping.

I had emailed to get my thank you coupon and ended up with that and a 20% first time coupon. That brought it down to like $6.50-something with the Pultec code. I snoozed on it to help my son get ready for school and when I went back and they had pulled to 20% coupon from my cart.  Dang! Now it's 9 bucks more.

They've pulled the %20 coupon from my account too.
The coupon had said it was for first time purchases - so it even being in my account was probably a glitch.
